I'm staying in Fort Myers for a few days & am not impressed with Crestwood Suites. The only thing I can say is the price is very reasonable. There are a few things within walking distance, which is helpful in my situation, but not as many options as I would like. The first disappointment that I had was finding out that there was no pool or jacuzzi. I guess I should have known this, but I didn't and I wasn't pleased. Oh, well.
The room I have is small, but I guess I don't need much. The bed is not very comfortable. I swear the first night I could smell someone's perfume now & then when I tossed & turned to try and get somewhat comfortable. The place is relatively clean, but the place obviously needs work. For someplace that isn't very old, I find that somewhat surprising. The AC works, but makes strange crackling and clicking type noises periodically. The kitchen is small, but adequate for one or two guests, I suppose. There are not many dishes & such- good thing I wasn't relying on that.
I had a rude awakening, literally, my first morning. I received an automated wake up call at 3:45 AM, which was apparently set by the previous guest. Never did get fully back to sleep after that.
If I have to stay in Fort Myers again it won't be here.
