Crest spinbrush —

My husband had been asking for some time if I could get him an electronic toothbrush for him to try out.  However, I was leery of the price tag of most electronic toothbrushes (I couldn't see spending $50 on something that normally costs $1), and because my husband sometimes becomes infatuated with toys... like the $100 electric shaver he begged for and then used for only a few months before going back to disposable razors...

SO, I was pleased when Crest came out with the Spinbrush... I could both satisfy his curiosity about electronic toothbrushes and not spend too much.  I don't know if he was using it wrong, but from the start, the toothbrush did not spin very much when he applied pressure against his teeth.  Needless to say, the spinbrush lasted approximately one month before the battery died... after that, he used it as a regular manual toothbrush for another month or so before throwing it out.  Worth a try, but not something I'll purchase again!
