When the Crest expressions first came out...I had to try a few flavors to see which one I would prefer and then which ones the kids preferred. The cinnamon rush was the flavor of choice. Of course that may be because we all like cinnamon in my house. It gave you such a fresh and yummy taste in your mouth after you brushed. To think it helps fight cavities at the same time giving you a fresh breath. I would definately tell others to purchase this product as it was definately one of my favorites when it comes to flavor. I did notice slight whitening but not to much of a difference from other toothpaste with the same concept.

As strange as it sounds after all these years I just couldn't stand the taste of the peppermint toothpastes that I had been using all my life. While shopping for new toothpaste I saw the Crest whitening Expressions Cinnamon Rush Toothpaste. I have always love the flavor of cinnamon especially in gum and Red Hot candy. I decided to give the Crest a try. I loved the flavor and I loved the fresh taste of cinnamon. I thought the strength was a bit strong but since I love the cinnamon taste it was fine for me. The problem I ran into was that the toothpaste was constantly crystalizing and caking up the opening. Every morning I had to get the hardened toothpaste out of the opening in order to brush my teeth. It wasn't like the toothpaste was sitting unused for extended amounts of time causing it to harden at the opening. I was brushing my tooth two to three times a day. I am not sure if it is toothpaste dispenser that causes it and if Crest maybe made it a pump or something else it wouldn't crystalize. I love the flavor and how fresh smelling it makes my breath and cleans my teeth but I won't be buying more if I have to keep throwing the tube away halfway through because I can't get the toothpaste out.

TOO Much Cinnamon

By

from Pittsburgh, PA

Comments about Crest Whitening Expressions Cinnamon Rush Toothpaste:

Even if you love cinnamon like I do, you may not like this toothpaste. There is so much cinnamon that it feels like this toothpaste is burning your mouth. I really love cinnamon, but I don't like really spicy food and I don't even think of cinnamon as a spicy taste, but this toothpaste has this intense flavor to me that is very hard to take.

I tried to just get through the burning taste, but I found that I just hated the experience so most of the toothpaste is still in my bathroom cabinet gathering dust.

If you LOVE cinnamon and spicy food you might like this toothpaste. I guess I should have paid more attention to the name of this product, I wanted Cinnamon, but not a cinnamon rush.

I can't imagine any child being able to take this toothpaste and if you still want to try this, I recommend trying to find a travel size because I don't think you should commit to a full tube until you try this.

Whitening!? I don't think so!

By

from Portland, TX

Comments about Crest Whitening Expressions Cinnamon Rush Toothpaste:

The only reason this product has such a high score is that it tastes different than the regular ole' minty flavors! This product was used in my house until the entire tube was gone (because it was costly for toothpaste) and I was absolutely miserable. As I stated, the taste was decent for toothpaste but all other aspects were horrible! It does not whiten your teeth, as it is a RED TOOTHPASTE. Guess what color it turned my teeth? Red/pink. That is not a hard one to figure out once you use the product. Also, cinnamon is a rough substance to constantly use inside your mouth. I could only brush my teeth once a day because I had sores in my mouth from the spicy cinnamon chemicals and it got progressively worse with each use of the toothpaste.
I would not recommend this product to be used by my worst enemy because it is just THAT bad. (Clearly, the unique flavor was not worth it to me.. and I am, by no means, a mint-lover!)

Not a bad toothpaste, change from mint

Comments about Crest Whitening Expressions Cinnamon Rush Toothpaste:

I don't mind mint toothpaste, but I know some people dislike mint so this might be for you. I got this just as a change of pace, and it isn't bad. It's somewhere between spicy and sweet but not overwhelmingly so in either direction. Cleans and freshens as well as any other toothpaste.

Comments about Crest Whitening Expressions Cinnamon Rush Toothpaste:

Crest Whitening Expressions Cinnamon Rush Toothpaste is absolutely one of the best products available on the market today. My entire family loves this toothpaste. The cinnamon does not burn your mouth but provides just enough flavor to feel especially clean.

This is So Bad For You!

By

from USA

Comments about Crest Whitening Expressions Cinnamon Rush Toothpaste:

First of all the cinnamon flavoring tastes like you are spreading regurgitated candy all over your gums. Secondly, fluoride is bad for you. I know your dentist tries to tell you otherwise in the United States, but it was used in Natzi concentration camps to make the prisoners complacent. It has been an active ingredient in rat poison. It is classified as toxic before being dumped into our water supplies and should not be acceptable to put in anyone's mouth. Why would you wash your mouth out with something that has a warning label right on the package telling you not to consume it? I used to buy only Crest toothpastes before coming to the realization of the magnitude of lies being thrown at me just in order to make a buck. They should be ashamed! I did, however try the Cinnamon and did not like it. I felt like my breath was not as fresh and like my teeth needed to be brushed more frequently than other varieties of even Crest. In conclusion, do not put fluoride in your mouth. It is a dangerous, soft-kill, nuero-toxin designed to dumb down the masses into submission. Do your research and boycott any company in support of it (including, but definitely not limited to Crest).

Cleans teeth and leaves great taste

By

from Berkeley, CA

Comments about Crest Whitening Expressions Cinnamon Rush Toothpaste:

I grow tired of the usual mint-flavored toothpaste that dominate store shelves. Crest's whitening expressions cinnamon rush is a nice alternative. I like how the toothpaste doesn't foam up too much like others do, especially Colgate. Cleaning perfomarnce seems to be as good as any other toothpaste, though it's hard to really discern significant differences. The aftertaste from the cinnamon leaves me feeling extra clean as well.

I don't give it a '5' because I haven't noticed any whitening performance. I think that might be more of a small marketing gimmick, or perhaps the whitening components are in such small concentration in the toothpaste. Either way it's a great toothpaste for people who want something a little different without sacrificing cleaning quality/performance.

Crest Whitening Expressions Cinnamon: Fresh Taste, Fresh Breath

By

from Houston, TX

Comments about Crest Whitening Expressions Cinnamon Rush Toothpaste:

Toothpaste products offer many different similarities, but there are a few brands that distinguish themselves from the competition in different ways. Among these distinctions, one is taste and one product that offers a different dimension of flavor is **Crest Whitening Expressions Cinnamon Rush**.

**Toothpaste Commentary**

Crest Whitening Expressions Cinnamon Rush is a very good oral care product that sets itself apart from the competition by its flavor. Most all toothpaste products are minty in flavor, but Crest Whitening Expressions Cinnamon Rush offers something a little different: The taste of cinnamon, a flavor not uncommon to toothpaste but also not the norm.

Crest Whitening Expressions Cinnamon Rush tastes great and freshens breath with the flavor of cinnamon. But the advantages don’t end there- it also provides fluoride to prevent cavities and special ingredients to whiten the teeth and keep your smile looking clear and bright.

Crest Whitening Expressions Cinnamon Rush is a good toothpaste for overall cleaning and it brings bad breath to a quick end with its fresh cinnamon flavor. If I had to point out a few shortfalls with this product, the main one would have to be the lack of multiple layers of protection. With Crest Whitening Expressions Cinnamon Rush, you don’t get the tartar protection and other benefits like you do with other products and even the whitening ability is only average. It performs well at stain prevention and it tastes great, but it doesn’t offer many extra benefits.

**Bottom Line Viewpoint**

Crest Whitening Expressions Cinnamon Rush is a good oral care product with many reasons to consider it for you next toothpaste. The taste is great and the cleaning ability is very good. It doesn’t offer many fringe benefits and it doesn’t rate as highly as Crest ProHealth Cinnamon toothpaste, but it is still a very good product compared to others in its class.

A little zippity-doo-dah for your zippity day!

By

from Oak Park, IL

Comments about Crest Whitening Expressions Cinnamon Rush Toothpaste:

It has been a welll-kept secret that almost any toothpaste which contains sodium fluoride will get the job done so why do we keep experimenting with "new" things we haven't tried before? Here's a reason -- because brushing one's teeth is **BORING!** Our teeth are precious and worth every minute of attention but even a good oral hygiene routine is (after all) a **routine**. Brush and floss thousands of times and a sense of *deja vu *begins to set in. Oral hygiene is a crucial part of our daily life so we stick with it but every now and then we welcome a "new" toothpaste who saunters in, just to add a little adventure to it all. Manufacturers understand this and keep coming up with new things to spice up our day, including*** Crest Whitening Expressions Cinnamon Rush***.

**WHAT THIS IS:**

***Crest Whitening Expressions Cinnamon Rush Toothpaste ***is actually a bright red semi-opaque **gel **which blends sodium fluoride (to get the job done) with a list of inactive ingredients which include: sorbitol, water, hydrated silaca, disodium pyrophosphate, sodium laurel sulfate, flavor, sodium saccharin, sodium hydroxide, carboner, xanthan gum, carnauba wax, cellulose gum, titanium dioxide, and Red No. 40.

**MY VIEWPOINT:**

As far as I'm concerned, nothing can unseat my all-time favorite -- Mentadent -- which I continue to use once a day in the evening but I enjoy using ***Crest Whitening Expressions Cinnamon Rush Toothpaste ***for my morning brush. It isn't better than any other toothpaste which contains sodium fluoride but that's okay -- it has been an interesting experience and I love the taste of cinnamon. Eventually, the novelty will wear off and I may get bored with this one too but that's alright too because by that time I will have used up the tube and I am sure that -- even as I write this -- some geniuses somewhere are concocting another flavor of toothpaste for me to try. **Good for them!**
