Crest SpinBrush Pro Whitening Toothbrush —

I'm pretty manic when it comes to brushing my teeth and brush at least twice per day, if not more.  Okay, so maybe it has something to do with my daily candy addiction but let's keep that a secret.

I used to believe that any type of toothbrush did the job, but after discovering various spinning tooth brushes, I now know better.  I'm not brand adverse to any particular spin brush and buy whatever is on sale.  That's how I came to purchase the Crest SpinBrush Swirl.  It was on sale and ended up costing less than most manual toothbrushes.  In fact, even at full price, it doesn't cost much more than a regular toothbrush.

Like a kid in a candy store, I ran right home to try it out.  I have to admit though that I was a little disappointed.  The Crest SpinBrush Swirl doesn't have the same power as other spin brushes that I have used in the past.  I still feel clean after I brush with it, but I always feel like the other spin brushes did a better job.

I also was disappointed to discover that Crest doesn't sell replacement heads for the SpinBrush Swirl.  Therefore, when its time is up, the entire spin brush goes into a landfill.  I guess that's one thing that it has in common with a manual toothbrush.

Some of the benefits of the Crest SpinBrush Swirl (per the website) include:

* You brush as you always brush; SpinBrush Swirl does the rest

* Produces 6000 brush strokes per minute

* Pressure sensitive motor to signal when you're brushing too hard

* Unique spinning head delivers 20x more brush strokes than a manual toothbrush

Overall, I am content using the Crest SpinBrush Swirl and would buy it again if it were on sale.  Compared to a manual toothbrush, I'm getting a better quality cleaning product for about the same price.

LOL. I am not a big fan of them really. I get impatient and just brush my teeth manually.

LOL - I can't believe that you buy toothbrushes to coordinate with your decor! Thanks for the chuckle this morning. :)

I really like the spin brushes, just not this brand. I will probably alternate between manual brushes and spin ones.

I wish that I could get my kids to use the spin brushes but they are afraid of them. ;)

I bought two of these, one for me and one for my son. I went back to my manual toothbrush because it didn't feel like this brush was doing the job any better. I have used others that really made my teeth feel super clean but this was was ehhh.

I've tried these before and they really are nice. They do a great job cleaning the teeth. I should go back to it.... :-)

I buy toothbrushes that look as if they could do a good job and the colors have to match my bathroom decor. Yeah, I'm that OCD. But usually I just switch out every time the dentist gives me a new toothbrush--he also has to give me a color coordinated one ;+) ~Gigi
