Great toothpaste
When I started having sensitive teeth about 5 years ago, my dentist recommended a sensitive toothpaste formulation along with Act mouthwash. I have tried Sensodyne and the Colgate version, but Crest Sensitivity tastes far, far better. The others taste chalky and bland to me. Crest tastes great and leaves a fresh taste in my mouth. My new toothcare regime has prevented the sensitivity from getting worse. I consider that successful. (If your teeth are very sensitive, to begin with, you may need the extra strength fluoride toothpaste from the dentist and a calcium toothpaste to help re-mineralize some of the spots. That is what I had to do at first. Once I had done this, I went to what I consider my maintenance regimen--Crest Sensitivity and Act.) The best thing to do is prevent the acid erosion in the first place. And get proper dental care all along. Then, if you still develop tooth sensitivity, use Crest Sensitivity. Your teeth will thank you.
