NIce light minty flavor

4

I recently had the opportunity to try this Crest Pro-health for Me Fluoride Anticavity Toothpaste. I really like the flavor of Minty Breeze, and even my children who are not big fans of minty toothpaste didn't seem to mind the light minty flavor either. The minty flavor seemed to leave mouth and breath smelling fresh. The tube of toothpaste was a little small, so it's probably not the best value on the market. I'm also not sure why it is marketed under the special log of "for Me" but the kids did seem to enjoy using this toothpaste, and I cannot argue with results. It kept teeth clean, and it does seem to help keep cavities away, so it does deliver on what it promises to do. It is a nice step between the fruity kids toothpastes and the stronger and more mint flavored "adult toothpastes." This is definitely a product I am interested in trying again and I will likely look into buying it for my children. Another great product from Crest!

Perfect anticavity toothpaste for tweens 8 thru 12 years old.

One of my sons just turned 12 last month. Thankfully, he doesn't have any cavities, but it hasn't been easy for me helping him to remain cavity free. Crest did a very smart thing recently. They made a line of oral care products targeted specifically for tweens...children aged 8 through 12. I received a sample of **Crest Pro-health for Me Fluoride Anticavity Toothpaste Minty Breeze **from VocalPoint for my son to try, and my only regret is that this toothpaste wasn't developed a lot sooner. My 12 year old son doesn't like anything that's very minty. He doesn't like anything peppermint or even mints or gum that are too minty. He can handle a slight mint taste, which this toothpast has, but he says that most mint products are "too hot" and he really dislikes anything with a hot minty taste. With that said, the bubblegum and other gentle flavors of toothpastes designed for young children don't contain enough flouride for my satisfaction, for children 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 years of age. Until now, there has never really been a toothpaste marketed for tweens of those ages. That  has ended up causing what Crest has dubbed 'brush-sitting.' Brush-sittingis what you  do when your children are too old to use 'baby' toothpaste, but too young for regular, minty, hot flavored toothpastes. You have to stand there and watch your tween brush their teeth so that you know for sure their teeth actually got brushed properly. That's not necessary for my son since he began using Crest Pro-health for Me Fluoride Anticavity Toothpaste in Minty Breeze. This toothpaste isn't so minty and hot that it burns my son's mouth, so he doesn't mind the taste. He likes the "cool" looking packaging and colors on the tube, and he also likes the fact that he knows this toothpaste was made specifically for children his age. It makes him feel a little special, which is important for any child, from time to time. I secretly watched him brush his teeth for 5 days in a row using Crest Pro-health for Me Fluoride Anticavity Toothpaste Minty Breeze, and he did everything perfectly, without complaining, and without stopping before the timer went off. I'm sold! No more brush sitting for me. He can do it all by himself, and could have when he was 8 or 9 years old if only this toothpaste would have been around then. **Product Description:** *"Crest pro-health for me fluoride anticavity toothpaste helps prevent cavities and freshens breath all with a light herbal mint flavor and cool packaging they'll love. Crest Pro-Health For Me Fluoride Anticavity Toothpaste is made just for kids 8-12, and comes in a great, kid-friendly flavor."* **Safety Information: ***"Keep out of reach of children under 6 yrs. of age. If more than used for brushing is accidentally swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away."***Indications: **"*Helps protect against cavities."***Ingredients: ***"Sorbitol, water, hydrated silica, disodium pyrophosphate, sodium lauryl, sulfate, sodium hydroxide, flavor, sodium saccharin, xanthan gum, carbomer, polyethylene, mica, titanium dioxide, and blue 1 lake."***Directions: ***"Adults and children 2 yrs. & older: Brush teeth thoroughly after meals or at least twice a day or use as directed by a dentist. Do not swallow. To minimize swallowing use a pea-sized amount in children under 6. Supervise children's brushing until good habits are established. Children under 2 years: Ask a dentist."* * * This toothpaste is terrific for tweens aged 8 to 12 who know how to brush their teeth but don't do a particularly good job of it unless you stand there and watch them. The packaging, taste, and "Just For Me' labeling all work together to provide a pleasant brushing experience instead of rolling eyes and procrastination. Buy someCrest Pro-health for Me Fluoride Anticavity Toothpaste in Minty Breeze for your tween and you will be able to stop 'brush-sitting' too.

Crest Pro-health for Me - Perfect for kids!

I purchased Crest Pro-health for Me toothpaste as an alternative to the sickly sweet children's toothpaste that is currently available.  My kids love Crest Pro-health for Me toothpaste now.  I love it too.  Specifically, the toothpaste tube is great.  Not only is the tube good looking (I love all of the designs on it), but the toothpaste actually doesn't glob up around the opening.  The lid is easy to shut after each use.  My kids like the taste of it so it keeps them brushing their teeth more regularly.  The flavor of the toothpaste isn't too strong and it isn't too sweet for them.  The price of Creat Pro-health for Me toothpaste is a little higher than other toothpastes.  However, I find that Crest does offer some great coupons which makes the cost of this product more in line with other toothpastes.  I also think it is a premium toothpaste and I am willing to pay more for a toothpaste that keeps my kids brushing their teeth regularly.  I will continue to use this toothpaste and I would recommend it to others.

Life-Changing

Up until about 6 months ago, I never had any problem using toothpaste. I could use any brand and any flavor. Then all of a sudden I started having extremely dry lips and nothing that I used (Chapstick, lip gloss, vaseline, petrolatum, aquaphor, seriously ANYTHING) would seem to clear it up. I also noticed that the corners of my mouth were really dry and were beginning to crack. This condition, known as angular chelitis, was extremely, extremely painful. It also made me very self-conscious because it looked very strange. Anyhow, I kept on with my normal regimen and added (after research) vitamin B to my supplements. That didn't work either. I ended up running out of the whitening toothpaste I was using and went on to use my husband's toothpaste (non-whitening)...the condition improved and quickly. At my next grocery trip, I bought more of the whitening toothpaste not realizing the connection just yet. The problem came back with a vengeance and I later discovered that I have an allergy/sensitivity to the peroxide used in many whitening toothpastes and regular toothpastes and for that reason I have to use children's toothpaste. But I didn't want bubble gum flavor...I wanted a strong minty flavor that left my mouth fresh. After trying many different brands, Crest Pro health For Me is the ONLY toothpaste that fits that bill for me. I hope Crest continues to make it because it is likely the only toothpaste I'll ever buy.

Great next step up!

I got this toothpaste and the matching toothbrush in the "goodie bag" you get after a regular dental exam. I'm 32 years old and hadn't heard of this new toothpaste before I got it. I had used it for a couple of days before I saw a commercial on tv advertising this toothpaste for tweens. Ha ha my husband made fun of me and said I was using a kids toothpaste. I like this tooth because it still has a minty flavor and not a sweet taste to it like some of the new "flavor" toothpastes out there. The vanilla flavored and the orange flavored toothpastes are disgusting. I really enjoy the SUPER minty refreshing flavor of other toothpastes, this one is too mild for ME. BUT Now that I know this is supposed to be geared toward tweens I think it's a great toothpaste. It's like the next step up after the bubblegum or strawberry toothpastes young kids use but a step down from the overly minty too strong flavor geared toward adults. My daughters are 7 and 2 and I think this would be a great next step up when my daughter is done with the more babyish toothpastes. I don't know how much it costs compared to other toothpastes since I got it for free.

Not just for kids

I got this as a sample and decided to try it myself. Wow! I hate the minty flavor in most toothpastes, but this one is the best. Even though it is geared for kids, I am now going to buy it exclusively as I like it too.

my preteen loves it

My son use to be so-so with brushing his teeth and now he usually remembers on his own.  The taste is minty but not to strong for a child's taste buds.  The tube has a cool top that flips open which I think all children's toothpaste tube should have to make it easier for the children to open and close.

Crest For Me is made for tweens but adults like it too!

I received a sample of **Crest Pro-Health For Me Fluoride Anticavity Toothpaste **as a member of *Vocalpoint.com*.**  **I was to have my son, age seven, try this product and report his experience back to *Vocalpoint*.  What I didn't expect was how much my entire family liked this product, even though it's geared towards tweens. We immediately liked the mild minty taste.  My kids are used to the bubblegum and fruit-flavored toothpastes and don't like strong minty ones.  My husband and I like mint toothpaste and had our reservations about the** For Me **toothpaste being strong enough, but it has the perfect balance of mint for both the kids and the adults.  It left my mouth feeling clean, fresh, and minty. **Crest **claims that this toothpaste fights cavities, strengthens teeth enamel, and freshens breath.  I only want the best toothpaste for my kids and those features are important to me, even if my kids only care about the taste.  Because **Crest Pro-Health For Me Fluoride Anticavity Toothpaste **is made for tweens ages 8-12, the packaging is pretty creative and crazy with graphics.  Both of my kids thought it was cool, especially my five-year-old daughter.  That surprised me because my kids never pay attention to products that don't have Sponge Bob Squarepants or Scooby Doo on them. The **Crest Pro-Health For Me Fluoride Anticavity Toothpaste **may be made for tweens but adults love it too.  This product gets eight thumbs up from my family.

Cool packaging to attract Kids & Teens

4

I recently received the Crest Pro-Health for Me toothpaste sampler from Viewpoints. It came with a fun package with a cool, youthful design on the tube so I gave it to my eight-year-old god-daughter who usually needs "brush-sitting" to make sure she brushes those pearly whites 2 times every day. This is the first time I didn't personally use a product I'm reviewing, and though I didn't taste the flavor, my god-daughter said that it was good. I do like the quality and flavor of Crest Toothpastes and Rinses in general over other dental care brands. It's great that this toothpaste helps prevent cavities yet the design on the packaging and the tube looks fun and playful. I think the clever packaging and marketing will definetly appeal to the pre-teen and teenage audience, especially if Crest updates the designs and flavors to keep the "Pro-Health for Me" line of products fresh and interesting for the young audience they are targeting.

Crest Pro Health FOR Me is a tasty toothpaste.

4

My son tells me, "It is a tasty toothpaste  that I enjoy brushing with." That is something I loved hearing. After years of asking and telling and begging him to brush his teeth, he finally enjoys brushing his teeth. Some of this is because he's now twelve years old and may be thinking of how he presents himself to the girls in school. But I also believe that this toothpaste is, as it presents itself, marketed for tweens. It tastes good and "calls" for him to brush his teeth at least twice a day. He has always complained that our "adult" toothpaste is too strong in taste, so we tried using the kid's toothpaste. That lasted for a while, but he is now ready to move up a step. Until now the next step was the strong mint taste that he didn't like. So he would run his toothbrush under the faucet, them jump in bed and tell me that he had brushed his teeth. Now I can look at my precious son and see clean white teeth. Thanks, Crest!  :-)
