I've been noticing from time to time the inside of my mouth peels within minutes after brushing my teeth. It is the inside of my cheeks and the skin under my lower lip. It doesn't hurt, just disgusting to swab the inside of my mouth and have this stringy skin becoming removed with my finger. I did an internet search, and many people were saying they had the same thing when using Crest ProHealth toothpaste. I went to look at the type of toothpaste I'm using, and sure enough, it is Crest ProHealth. Now, I don't know what causes this, but it is of concern. We trust products we use to be safe, but it makes me think there must be some harsh ingredient in this stuff to cause oral mucosa peeling.
