I really wanted to love Crest Pro-Health Night Mint Mouthwash. I'm a big fan of other Crest Pro-Health products (and my dentist recommends that I use them.) Anyway, who wouldn't want a mouthwash that works all night to protect teeth and gums and reduce morning breath? Sadly, my experience with this mouthwash didn't quite live up to the claims. On the positive side, it's alcohol-free and has active ingredients that fight plaque and gingivitis. On the negative side, we *really* didn't like the taste (it had a strong mint flavor with metallic undertones), and my husband felt like it coated his mouth and made it feel weird (I didn't really notice this myself). Also, when Crest called it "night" mouthwash, they weren't kidding -- the taste lasts for quite a long time and really does not go well with food! We ended up having two open bottles of mouthwash, one for "day" use and one for "night" use, so I don't think we'll buy Crest Pro-Health Night Mint Mouthwash again any time soon.

The Crest Pro-Health Night Mint Mouthwash is probably one of my all-time favorite mouthwashes out on the market. It has a great taste that lasts for a long time after using it, but it is not so strong that it is uncomfortable afterwards (which seems to happen with some mouthwashes). Sometimes the Crest Pro-Health Night Mint Mouthwash will burn my mouth a bit if I have any sores in my mouth. It seems to help them heal more quickly, however, so it is worth it in that regard. Since I started using the Crest Pro-Health Night Mint Mouthwash in addition to my usual brushing and flossing, I have not had any cavities or needed any dental work. This is fantastic because I usually have at least one cavity each time I go to the dentist. With this Crest Pro-Health Night Mint Mouthwash, however, I've been cavity-free. I am really grateful because I am absolutely terrified of the dentist! I have an awful phobia.

Since I normally like Crest products, I decided to try the Crest Pro-Health Night Mint Mouthwash. I also liked that the bottle was different than everything else on the shelf. It sort of drew my attention to the bottle since it looked like it was something new and different. The Crest Pro-Health Night Mint Mouthwash is alcohol free, so it doesn't have the burning sensation that you often have with mouthwash. I, personally, did not like this mouthwash. I thought it had a strange flavor, and I never felt like my mouth was totally clean after I used this. It was really easy to purchase, and it is convenient to find at any larger grocery store or convenience store. I wouldn't buy this again simply because I didn't like the flavor, but it was also a little expensive. I don't typically see coupons for this mouthwash, while some of the other flavors have coupons available.

I love trying 'new' products to me, and decided to buy Crest Pro Health Night Mint Mouthwash. The size I have is actually 250 ml (8.4 fl.oz.) The bottle is clear plastic, has a blue label on the front and back, but around it you can see that it is a clear liquid. It is alcohol free. Upon opening it up, there is a great minty smell. I poured the mouthwash into the cap, poured it into my mouth, and then allowed it to swirl around for 30 seconds. After spitting it out my mouth felt really fresh. I felt comfortable going to bed, and snuggling up. When I woke up in the night, I didn't have dry mouth, and feel the need to use a mouthwash again. I can't say whether it fights plaque, or gingivitis, as I have dentures, but I do know that my mouth felt fresh, and stayed fresh longer. This is suitable for adults, and children 6 and above. The price is higher than the generic brand I use, but if it is on sale, and with a coupon, then I would be happy to buy it again.

I had been looking for a mouthwash that did not sting (from the alcohol content) and that also did not cost a fortune.  Products containg less alsohol leaves you with horrible "morning-breath."  Crest Pro-Health mouthwash is exactly what I had been looking for.  This mouthwash helps prevent and reduce plaque and gingivitis. It also helps to control plaque and bacteria that cause the development of gingivitis and bleeding gums.  And it does it without any alcohol content at all.  The active ingredient is Cetylpyridinium Chloride, and it works.  It kills 99% of germs that cause plaque, gingiviis and bad breath (morning-breath.)  And it does not sting, because there is no alcohol content.  The multi-protection night mouthwash has a very pleasant mint taste, and it pulls the food out that gets stuck between your teeth.  I have replaced my old brand with this for nighttime.  In the morning, I use the Crest Pro-Health multi-protection blue mouthwash, which I will do a separate review on.  If you are looking for a good mouthwash without alcohol, try this.

I found this mouthwash when it was rebated back to nearly free, so I thought I would try it. I used it night after night, and I was so sure I was doing something great for my teeth, rather than just brushing and flossing.  The taste was pretty good too.  Then I noticed my teeth started having a brown, dingy look, especially in the cracks and crevices.  I started brushing more, flossing more and couldn't get rid of it.  I finally ended up using Crest whitestrips which took almost all of the brown away.  Later while on the internet, I found an article about Crest ProHealth Night.  All sorts of people have been complaining about this mouthwash and about how it turned their teeth brown!! And from what I read in the article, Crest has been told about this over and over by consumers and refused to pull it off the shelves.  I never did contact them because I figured by what everyone else said that they wouldn't do anything anyway.  The last I knew this was still on the market! I strongly recommend looking up reviews on this product before using it! I have to wonder if this is P&G's way of getting you to buy their Crest whitestrips.

Crest Pro Health Night rinse mint flavor is a great product.  It is alcohol free and therefore there is no burning sensation while using it.  It is a fresh minty taste that is pleasant to use, while giving you a clean after feeling.  I think this is a great product that I would recommend to others especially those who dislike that burning feeling that comes along with many other mouthwashes.  This product while being very minty, that minty taste is limited.  I think this is great for a night time rinse as it allows for a more relaxed feeling before going to bed.   Crest Pro Health Night rinse is a product that can be a little pricey but sometimes can be found in the clearance sections of your local drug store if you wish to test it out before fully committing to it.  If the price was more reasonable for the size of the bottle I would continue to use it as part of my daily night toothbrushing routine.
