I recently bought the micro for the daily commute to work. Until I did the firmware update, I had problems with the unit. The zen explorer software was horrible. It is also the slowest to install software I have ever installed. It also seemed to have a problem wherein it recognized track 10 as the second track rather than 10, this was fixed by the firmware update. Now the software is easy to use and has a good navigation functionality between files. The unit didn't work well, but then I downloaded the firmware update.Works great now.I use the real rhapsody download service, and can download as many songs as I want - but I wish I had waited to get the 8GB model - I didn't give enough thought to how much data I would want to use it for. I can get about 1,200 4 minute songs in 128bit MP3 format on it, but WITHOUT taking advantage of the more advanced features like the organizer and calendar etc. (by the way you need MS Outlook for these features). Some sites say that there is no "all tracks" option, but yes there is. Don't be afraid to push on the pad,as that is how you get control. If you barely touch it,there is no control.Overall a great unit.Great sound output too.
