I only owned a red Walkman and whenever we went to the beach or when I went for a walk with it, I felt like a complete goof. No one owned walkman's anymore and if they did, they weren't RED. My husband was well aware of my embarrassment, so for my birthday last year, he bought me a Creative Zen Micro 5GB MP3 Player. Now, if I could only figure out how to use it ...
The Facts
My Experience
I was really excited when I received my Zen Micro MP3 player. It was so tiny that I was surprised that it could actually hold up to 2,500 songs as well as all the other features it has. There is a voice recorder as well as a personal organizer. I haven't yet used these features but in time, as I figure out how to use this little dream machine, I'm sure I will. The luminescent blue glow on the trim and the buttons look really sharp. I am a bit disappointed with the touch pad on this player because it is extremely sensitive. I can't tell you how many times I end up at the wrong place doing the wrong thing. If I hold the device wrong and accidentally touch the screen, off it goes into another dimension. OK, well, not quite but it does mess up the song I was listening to. Also, the ear buds are quite uncomfortable and songs do freeze from time to time.
My Final Viewpoint
My husband paid a little over $100 for this Creative Zen Micro 5GB MP3 Player and so far it has met my needs for the most part. I guess this one is a split decision for me. I am going with a 3 star rating because there seems to be as many good points as there are bad points so basically, we are right there in the middle. I recommend it if you are a bit more tech savvy than I am because I am still trying to figure out how the whole thing works.
