I used to be the proud owner of a Creative Zen Nomad 30g MP3 player. I loved it, but it was old and huge and it's not Vista compatible. I missed my music so this past weekend I went to Walmart and purchased a bright Pink 1g Zen Stone. It's awesome. It was so easy to use. I also bought a wall charger that you plug your USB cord into so you don't have to charge the Zen through your computer. I charged it up then plugged it into my computer, hunted down all my music and added about 228 songs. It says it holds 250 but a few of the songs I uploaded are LONG, so it all equals out. I have owned my Zen Stone MP3 Player for a couple of months now.

It is very lightweight and I use it daily when walking to or from work or when I am working out at home. It has 1Gigabyte of memory so I am sure to never run out of space. I try to update my songlist as often as possible as I am always buying new music.

It features a power indication light that blinks different colors for different things. See description below:

Green, slow blink - Fully Charged

Green, fast blink - Battery is running low

Orange, fast blink - Batter is almost depleted

Red, fast blink - Maximum Volume has been reached....

The truth is, there's always going to be people like me, who just aren't going to shell out hundreds of dollars for the latest ipod... I went shopping to find an alternative- inexpensive, easy to use, durable, and packed with value. All those things decribe the Zen Stone. Great sound and size!

I was very impressed with the sound from the ZEN Plus Stone!! I did have to purchase different earbuds because the ones that came with it didn't stay in my ears. (I ended up buying the kind that wrap around your ears, and highly recommend them!) The software for the player is VERY simple to use...a plus for me!! Being my first MP3 player, I had to download the directions from the internet because printed DETAILED directions do NOT come packaged with the player. I highly recommend the ZEN Stone Plus. It's a great little player for a great price!

The Creative Zen Stone is very useful and SMALL I just put an earplug in my ear and nobody actually sees the device. The display screen is also very cool, I can quickly scan and see what song I'm listening too or lookig for. The only issues I had was after about 3 months my Zen stone got corrupted and I had to reset the whole device I lost all my music. And now that the Zen stone has been repaired it goes a little slow. But I still love it, I have had it for about one year and have yet to fill all the memory.

Exceeds the kid test

This little player is tough. My son received it a year ago as a birthday gift. It's been left in a pocket and washed once, left outside overnight, and dropped countless times. It still works like a charm. I'm very impressed with this little player's durability. It's not exactly feature rich, but it's perfect for a 9 year-old boy still learning to be responsible for his things.

This was a gift to my 10 yr old. She loves it, and hasn't destroyed it yet. That talks about the durablity of the product. I would recommend it to everyone. Great price for a great product. The only thing bad is if you do not buy the charger you have to recharge on your computer.

The Creative Zen Stone MP3 Player is a great starter for children 8-12. I bought three of them this past Christmas for my children.They come in many different colors, and are easy to download songs to.

comparable to iPod shuffle

The zen stone works just as well as the iPod shuffle but is much cheaper. It is perfectly sized for running but lacks any sort of clip.

I was so excited when I saw this cute, little music player, so when my fiance gave it to me for Christmas this year, I was even more excited. I immediately opened up the package, hooked everything up, and went to load my music on the player. Well, since I use iTunes to download my music, I didn't know that I wouldn't be able to use this player to play my music. I'm sure that iTunes has copyright laws and things like that to protect their music, but I would think there would be some kind of warning on the package that would let someone know the player isn't compatible with iTunes.
