I purchased a 32GB Creative Zen and added a 16GB SDHD card for a whopping 48GB of memory in a device that is the size of a credit card and is as thick as a CD case.  No hard drive means no moving parts that suck the battery dry as well as beign susceptible to shock.

Easy to use - downloading is a cinch. ...

I bought the ZEN (4GB) Digital Media Player because I needed a flash-based MP3 player when I'm on the go.
I currently own the Creative Zen Vision:M (30GB) which is a hard drive based player and don' want to risk knocking it around.  It's also on the bulky side for normal everyday use.

I sold my iRiver...

I got Creative Zen 4GB months ago and I am still as in love with it today as I was the first time it came all shiny and new out of the box. Is it without faults? No, occasionally it needs a reset to unfreeze (though it never wipes the player's content), the screen is not as scratch-resistant as it could be, and the buttons feel a bit flimsy and difficult to work without looking at them. However, this thing is a little bundle of media dynamite, with a startlingly crystal clear picture, great sound (when using decent earbuds, NOT the ones provided by Creative), and the option to expand with the memory... read full review »

I purchased two of these little babies for me and my girlfriend. I had good past experience with Creative and wanted something easy to use to sync a range of video, music and audio books.

Pros: The design and quality of the product is very high. I like the rechargeable battery and having the FM radio is a nice benefit. The SD slot allows me to prepare new files and transfer it easily to both players. The sound quality is high and the screen is quite bright. I actually have watched some full-length TV episodes on them.

Cons: No dedicated volume button (it is hidden in the menus). The included ear...

I got a really good deal on this mp3. I bought it from walmart around the christmas holiday. It was about thirty dollars cheaper than anywhere else. It has not given us any problems at all since we bought it. My daughter can listen to and download music and watch videos. You can also add memory to it which is a big plus, especially with teenagers.  Laugh Out Loud!! It was the best alternative to the ipod and I think it was actually a better deal overall. same function but the creative zen has added features like the added memory. She had a creative zen v before but lost it. This one is even...

My boyfriend bought this for me as a birthday present.  I got the 16GB instead of the 4GB plus it has an expansion slot for SD cards.  I LOVE music and pictures and this can hold a lot of both.  It also plays videos (though I'm not that savvy yet).  This player can store your contacts, calendar events and tasks from Microsoft Outlook.  I haven't tried these features yet but I'm sure it would prove to be very useful.  It's the size of a credit card so it fits in my purse or pocket easily.  On the downside it does on occasion freeze on me. The Creative website does however have a MP3 Player...

I received the Zen 8GB as a gift. Being 50+ it's been a bit of a challenge but I'm getting it. The screen is large enough to see and the buttons are easy to use (that's a note for the older crowd...lol).  I do love it. I did have to get a wireless headset (the buds were a pain-literally) and I bought earphones, the ones that go around the back of your head, for when I'm out and about. Okay, so I still have no idea how to fill a SD card...Heck, it took me a week to figure out what one was but I still bought a couple anyway!  I'll get it eventually...I hope...LOL.  The sound is fantastic...boy,... read full review »

the zen i think is an impressive mp3 player it packed with more escitment than an ipod nano. It brillant color screen it an explosion of colors. Video is sharp and so life like its amazing and the screen is big for showing your friends your amazing picture . The audio it just as great its crystal clear. the zen also has radio and a recorder to record your wonderful voice. And it has an expandable memory so the skies are your limit. And the zen is as small as a credit card cool its pocket friendly. The only thing bad is the headphones that come with the player so invest in your own pair.

I received ipod nano as a gift last week ( after Dh ran over my Zen V plus) and TRIED to like it. I returned it aafter muc frustration. After reading this review was able to price match this ZEN for 124.00 CAD at Futureshop.
It does has fast-fast forward like Zen V PLus.
I like the player- howevr I think they should have backlit buttons, not placed on of switch so close to headphone jack ( hard to get at using my headphones) . Video conversion a pain. If its true that there is no need to convert Xvid at a resolution of 320x240 - this is not a commnly avialable resolution. SD card not an issue...

I bought this last year for my 16 year old. She loves this MP3 player and takes it everywhere she goes. It was easy to figure out how to work it, donwloading music and changing it is also easy and quick. The battery is still good after a year and planety of use. It still holds a 12 hour charge and recharges over night. This was the most used present she has ever had. It was a good deal that I got online at the Walmart website. I paid extra for a year warranty but we didn't need it as she hasn't had any problems with it. If you have or know a teen that loves music, this is the MP3 player to get... read full review »

I got this Mp3 player for my hubby who needed to replace his old mp3 and kept on using mine(creative zen vision:m). It's much smaller, thinner and lighter.i actually wasn't sure to get him this one or an ipod nano. The ZEN's FM RADIO, EXPANDABLE SD SLOT..won me over.

Once again, its easy to use..you could use your windows media player, the creative media player or what my husband does...DRAG AND DROP.

The only problem i had was that i had to update a firmware...either then that..it hasn't crash on me or anything..

The creative Zen is a great mp3 player for a good price. It can play music, videos, has FM radio, record, and even contain photos. Even though it is compared to an ipod nano, the zen has a bigger screen and is about $10 to 20 less expensive. It works great and has a great video, picture, and sound quality.  Another good thing about the Zen is, it has a memory card that you can easily take out and insert.  Also if it freezes there is a small restart button that can be pressed using something small like a paper clip.

I've had this MP3 for a couple of months now and I fell in love with it. It goes farther than just music. It has a mic for recording, video, music, radio and pictures. It so easy to use and small so that it can go with you everywhere you go. The charge is pretty fast and the battery stays! You can listen for hours without worring about losing your battery. Its great! It also has expandable memory to grow with your music taste.

Recently i got Creative zen 8gb for my brother. it good size screen to view photos and video. Also it had FM which i am looking for. Initially i thought of buying apple product but because of universal cable for transfer of photos & music made me to buy this.

we don't need itunes or any specific s/w to upload data & also we can use this as flash memory to copy files.

I just got my Creative Zen.  I absolutely love it.  Had no problems with Vista.  Love the fact that I can load my pics onto an SD card so I save the Zen space for music!  I'm OK with the short USB cord...I had extras!
