Whenever you see Jonathan 'Fatal1ty' Wendel on a product, you know it's going to be good. This headset is no exception. In some games sound is very important and can dictate how well you do on certain games. If you have this headset, you will be able to hear footsteps or gun shots. Music is phenomenal on this headset as well. The microphone on this is removable, so you don't have to look like a nerd all the time. The microphone is great of chatting in game or on Skype. People on the other end has told me that the microphone quality is great and it doesn't pick up a lot of background noise. I think the best thing about this headset is how comfortable it is. The plush ear pieces make long hours of wearing it so comfortable. In hot conditions, when I had my other headset, which had leather ear pieces, I used to sweat so much in them. But in these headphones they're so comfortable and I don't sweat at all. I can leave them on for hours and not complain a bit! I've had this headset for over 2 years, but unfortunately it has met its end. Although it was great while it lasted, I wish it would have lasted a little longer.

Creative make some very good products. I used to have their speaker set from long time ago when I used to play Diablo2. They functioned perfectly and so I thought I would give them a try for gaming headsets since I game a lot and since I'm a bit of a collector when it comes to headsets. I was somewhat disappointed in this creative product. It is not a bad unit but it is not as good as I would like it to be. It allows you to listen to the in game noise however fairly well and the mic seems to be just fine. I do not like the color scheme that actually looks a bit tacky and greatly prefer an all-black scheme instead. Perhaps I received a defective unit but sometimes the plug seems to have issues, which can be fixed by just simply replugging it back in but it is a bit of an annoyance and something I do not have to put up with my other headsets.

They make a USB and non USB version of this headset, i ordered it when it was onsale for a killer price, i originally thought it was a USB headset, but when i opened it it turned out to be a plug in at first i was bummer out about this, but then i plugged it in and actually listened to the thing the sound is fantastic. if your computer has a really good motherboard or a high end sound card, the plug in headsets will sound alot better then a standard USB Headset, i originally didnt know this. I got a awsome sounding headset and i learned somthing new at the same time, it was a win win and at the price i got it for i couldnt be happier not everything has to be insanley expensive to be a awsome headset. Sound is a 10/10, Mic works flawless, detachable mic makes it easier to grub and play at the same time without having to bend the mic all around and break it. It is also very durable i have dropped the thing atleast 10 times, it just wont break.

I love this headset. I was using the Microsoft Livechat before these, so after my second pair died, I decided to switch headsets. It has the detachable boom mic, so you don't have to have it on for annoying in the way. The velvet leatherette cushion ear muffs are very comfortable. In line volume control a definite plus. Adjustable band as well as side to side turning of ear muffs for ultimate comfort. Definitely recommend these for the gamer and/ or or PC user out there.
