Like so many of my generation, I was once part of the Matrix. The Apple Matrix. I was the Manchurian Candidate reared by its cadre of marketing agents, and they were the ghosts in my machine. I unflinchingly recharged my iPod every 38 minutes and religiously traded it in for the next model up every 6 weeks--even when the old one hadn't died (yet). I spent the equivalent of Burundi's per capita GDP every month on iUseless accessories-- even though I had sworn to never again take advice from their Customer Reps. I even let iTunes tell me what I can and can't do with my audiobook of Kerouac's...

The Best Bare Bones MP3 Player Ever!

Yes, the Sansa Clip sounds better...but for rough and tumble, versatile, 3rd World Country, no computer or 12V source around to recharge with usefullness...the Creative MoVu V100 can't be beat in my opinion. It's simple and ugly and almost perfect...if it supported playlists...it would be unmatched. Sadly Creative has quit producing these, but they can still be found here and there.

Love it because:

Takes one AAA battery, and runs forever (18 Hrs.).

Records to ".wav".

Simple LCD screen.

Usable as USB thumbdrive.

No stupid AAC or WMA or DRMA resrictions (plays MP3 & WMA).

No crippling Proprietary...

This MP3 was very reasonably priced for its performance. It sounds great and is extremely easy to work. Downloading music does not take very long at all. For a first MP3, I would strongly recommend. It is small and compact so it is easy to take arouind with you. You just take off the end of the mp3 and plug into your usb and start downloading. That easy. CD is very understandable as well. It is also an attractive unit. When I first seen this unit, I have never heard of Muvu, but I am glad that I chose to go with that MP3. My daughter was very happy.

I carry my MP3 player with me wherever I go. I use it for about 4 hours a day. I love the fact that I can carry my music with me and not be stuck listening to the drivel on radio. This player has plenty of memory space, and makes a convieviant flash drive as well. I also purchased one for my 12 year old son, and he loves it too! Very easy to upload files, very easy to change files, very easy to sort through existing files in memory. I recommend this product for everyone, all ages. Very economical alternative to I-pod.

I love how easy it is to load music on to the player. Just plug it in, and it shows up as a new drive, and just drop in the music. The volume gets to a good level for listening. You can create your own folders within the player, and sort music accordingly. You can choose which songs to put in each time, or just add some new, and leave the rest where they are. The product is durable, and was a great value for the price. I would suggest it for anyone who is looking for a simple to use MP3 player.

The Muvo is a great portable mp3 player. It is lightweight, easy to carry and works on flash memory so it can survive plenty of banging around. Also, it works just like a flash drive, which makes for very easy song transfers. The airbuds shipped to use were not symmetrical, but after they were replaced, it worked great. Sound quality is good. Great price! One big negative is the lack of interface to scan through songs.

The Mp3 player has Great sound,One thing that needs to be fixed are new ear buds, They don't stay in your ears very well. Downloading music was easy and holds lots of music. Small enough to put into pocket. Easy and Lightweight to carry anywhere you go. It is very easy to use for kids. my Son loves it. I like the buttons aren't complicated and everything is easy to read. And also easy to delete music.

Has great sound quality and has a bass option. I bought it at a good price at the time and I have used it not just for my music but as usb drive to carry files. The only down side is that it requires batteries and the battery has a life of about 3 hours. I really enjoy my mp3 player works well even after two years. Highly recommend creative products.

This is an excellent little recorder and player. I have used it for recording my dad recount his WWII experiences. It is so small that it is not a distraction.

I have been able to use this for secretly making recordings when I wanted to be able to remember details of a conversation.

It even has an FM radio built into it.

This is a great MP3 Player for someone who doesn't know alot about computers! You just plug it into the USB slot and start transfering your music. The first 60 days you even have FREE TECH SUPPORT!!!!! You can also buy an extended warrenty which will extend your phone support! I would tell everyone to get this!!!

Great product with a great price! Is very easy to use. My first mp3 player and I was impressed on how easy it was to get everything downloaded. The sound quality is good too! I would recommend this player to anyone who is new to the mp3 experience.
