Like so many of my generation, I was once part of the Matrix. The Apple Matrix. I was the Manchurian Candidate reared by its cadre of marketing agents, and they were the ghosts in my machine. I unflinchingly recharged my iPod every 38 minutes and religiously traded it in for the next model up every 6 weeks--even when the old one hadn't died (yet). I spent the equivalent of Burundi's per capita GDP every month on iUseless accessories-- even though I had sworn to never again take advice from their Customer Reps. review »This is an excellent little recorder and player. I have used it for recording my dad recount his WWII experiences. It is so small that it is not a distraction.
I have been able to use this for secretly making recordings when I wanted to be able to remember details of a conversation.
It even has an FM radio built into it.
