I have been subscribing to Creating Keepsakes for as long as I remember. I love this magazine that I have even bought back issues from yard sales and flea markets. They are always up to date on the holiday coming up and new products that will be coming out. I have learned alot from the tips that they give you in the magazine. These tips are great because they are things that you may have never of thought of. The sketch page is really useful. When you are looking for a design you can just look at these sketches and make your own version of the sketch. In my last magazine there were sixty sketches...

I had purchased all of the scrapbooking magazines out there and Creating Keepsakes was my first and only scrapbooking magazine subscription.  I was excited and wanted to learn everything I could back then and Creating Keepsakes was definitely the best publication available.  Unfortunately, as the years passed what I found was a book chock full of advertisements.  They have some really awesome designers but no longer  dedicate enough space to the design and "how to" sections of the magazine.  The designers are why I gave them four stars rather than three.  After five years I am thinking... review »

Beginner to advanced scrapbooker, this is the magazine for you!

 IF you are a beginner scrap-booker or the well advanced, Creating Keepsake has it all. Many awesome layout ideas. Walks you through the layouts. The best part is that they tell you the exact company that the layout uses so you can make yours as true as true can be of the layout. I love the articles. I always find a new technique and well as so many new products. They seem to be right on top of the new products, usually showing ways to use them and where to get them. I've been scrapbooking for almost five years, and work part time at a local scrapbook store. I've also taught classes on scrapbooking techniques. I subscribe to most of the scrapbook magazines out there, and Creating Keepsakes is one of my favorites. It does have a lot of ads, but they are for good products and companies that you may not have seen yet. The magazine is cutting edge, and right on top of the latest trends, both in product and techniques. If you like the absolute latest trends, then you'll like this magazine. Because scrapbooking is such an individual type of craft, with people expressing them different ways, I think it's impossible to say you're crazy about every idea, but Creating Keepsakes does a very good job of providing a variety of styles.  They even show some digital ideas now for those who are into that.  I enjoy the sketches that show ways to use more than a few pictures in one layout.  Lots of pictures, fun new things to try, and realistic tips.

Creating Keepsakes magazine is by far the best magazine available for scrapbookers.  No matter if you are a beginner or an advanced scrapbooker, Creating Keepsakes can give you ideas for new pages, new techniques, photography suggestions and even other paper crafting suggestions.  And if you still want more after reading through the magazine you can also get more ideas online at their website.

I love having a subscription to Creating Keepsakes! They always have a new idea or product to show me how to use.  The page layout descriptions and pictures are wonderful for new and old scrapbookers.  The writers also make you think about your own life when you are scrapping the ideas they have in the magazine.  This is a must have and must keep for any devoted scrapbooker!

Less ads, more ideas please!

I loved this magazine when it first came out and had a subscription for a couple of years. Now I only purchase a copy if I see a lot of information or layouts that I can really use. It seems the last couple of years there are more ads and the same people doing layouts each issue. I'd like to see more layout ideas from the everyday scrapbooker rather than always the same pros. Thanks!

I really like the magazine and the website.The website is great because you can find so many
ideas.I really like the gallery - you get to see so many different things other have done and you
can show what you have done and get comments from other scrapbookers.I aslo like the
forums, it is a good place to offer opinions and to get advice.

I love CK and just signed up for a subscription.  I am constantly amazed at all of the new ideas they come up with every month.  And they make it simple, so I can recreate and learn from what they are producing.  They also have a great website with tons more information, videos, and a message board to connect with other scrappers.

Creating Keepsakes is a great scrapbook magazine. It's full of awesome layouts for you to pull inspiration from. They have carious articles each month - including on on how to maximize your tools! I highly recommend getting this trend setting magazine.
