I am a part of a Bible study with 20-30 year old gals. We read this book together last year and it really helped everyone see what being a Christian wife should look like. I am quite an opinionated and strong-willed person, so this book really helped me understand how to be a better wife through submission to my husband. — — Debi Pearl really speaks openly and honestly and I love how she doesn't hold back when she's trying to make a point. This book has down-to-earth advise for being the wife God wants you to be.  It takes passages of scripture and uses them to show what a Godly wife looks like.  It is nice to see a book that doesn't shy away for issues that would make it unpopular such as submission.  The author answers questions about head coverings, wearing pants, and other things that often come up in Christian circles.  I would recommend this book to anyone who wants honest answers - not just what the world thinks, but what the Bible has to… read full review »

I got married then gave birth very soon afterwards.  So instead of finding my place in my marriage, I had to find my identity as a mother.  Because of this, my marriage suffered because the roles of my husband and myself were getting confused.  That's when this book found me and I'm thankful that it did.  My husband and I read it together and it helped me understand what my role in the marriage was and it also helped my husband be supportive of any changes I needed to make.  My marriage is glorious… read full review »
