The success of Woot! has spawned several similar websites. Woot! sells a product a day at a good price, generally an electronic gadget. Crazy Mom Deals sells a deal a day for moms and other women who want a deal. After all, moms deserve to treat themselves now and then don't they? This is a fun concept and you can get some decent deals but it isn't as popular or as money saving as Woot!

Crazy Mom Deals (www.crazymomdeals.com) sells one item a day until it is out of stock or until 24 hours pass. Tonight, they are selling a pebble grain and mock-croc faux leather braided purse. Retail is $39.99, their price, $21.99. It's cute but I am not going to whip out my credit card for it.
In the past I have seen cosmetics, jewelry, a few kids items like mini backpacks, and accessories for decent but not blow me away prices. I bought a set of purse hangers - those things you set on a table or wherever and hang your purse from rather than set your purse on the dirty floor or hang it from your chair. They were a good deal and useful.
The site also has Mom Squad product reviews. Every item sold on the site is used and reviewed by one of the moms who are part of the "Mom Squad" dedicated to making sure every item is a good deal. You can easily click on their reviews and see what they thought, how they used the product, and get an idea if you want one. Naturally the reviews are all positive so take them with a rain of salt.
There is a Crazy Mom blog which is pretty much fluff and some side deal for moms like little girls dresses and bath and body sites.
Crazy Mom Deals was created by a couple of moms who decided that mothers need to pamper themselves now and then. They then established a Mom Squad to test products before they offer them to the public. You can actually apply to be a part of the Mom Squad if you are interested.
Shipping on items is a flat $5.00 and doesn't go up if you buy more than one of the item. You can pay via major credit card or paypal.
My Experience
I saw something I liked and put it in my cart. With the $5.00 shipping, the items (It was a set of two) were still selling for less than retail and I quickly went to paypal and paid. My items arrived a week later as described and packed well.
Cute, but I haven't seen much else that was a great deal or that I just HAD to have but you may. I have so much stuff that it's hard to find anything I don't already have. (Sad in a way, but true!).
I had no problems shopping on the site and think it's a cute idea. I don't think the prices are all that low but they are decent deals and it is fun to see what will come up next.
I signed up for notifications of new products twice and never got an email when something new was listed so I just go to the site when I remember and see what the deal of the day is.
My Viewpoint on Crazy Mom Deals
This is fun, but not all that unique, site. The idea is that moms should pamper themselves a bit too. Most items are for women but now and then there is a cute item for a kid sold. You just never know what will come up.
Shipping is reasonable and they seem reliable.
I am not happy that I never get an email when the item for sale changes as I signed up for but that just keeps me from impulse buying.
The site is cute and the premise is a good one but the deals are not that great. It's a fun idea and one that I check out when I remember but it's really a very average site with average prices. I give the site 3 stars. Check it out. Moms do deserve a little pampering and this site is there to help you do that. I do recommend it but check prices before buying to be sure they have the best deal you can get on the item.
