Great for crafts and school projects

5

Kids love glitter, so this is a cool product to add some extra sparkle to projects or arts and crafts. The tubes are shaped like a marker and have a small tip for precision. The kids like how it makes their things look more fancy. We have used them a lot and they work great. I like having things like this for the kids to sit down and do so we keep lots of arts and crafts supplies for them including these glitter glue pens. They are a little expensive but they love them so we keep buying them!

Makes glitter so much easier to use!

5

I love to do arts and crafts and Crayola Washable Glitter Glue really adds to my crafting experiences! Crayola makes great products and their Washable Glitter Glue is no exception. It is very easy to use. Just gently squeeze the pens-or tubes, and apply the glitter to whatever you choose. Be sure to let it dry. It comes in some great colors like red, green, blue, white, silver, gold, and more. I use these glitter glues on a variety of crafts-greeting cards, posters, scrapbooks, ornaments, clay pieces, wood, and more. I love the fact that I don't have to spend forever trying to collect excess glitter so that I can re-use it. Some other pluses about Crayola Washable Glitter Glue-it's non-toxic, which is a huge plus when working with children! I love the fact that it is washable-I can easily get it out of my clothes if I have a little accident.

A bit pricey, but fun!

Crayola Washable Glitter Glue is a very fun product, however I find that when kids use it, the glitter glue vanishes incredibly quickly. So it does work out to be a bit pricey. However, the color selection is awesome, the quality of the glitter glue is wonderful, and overall, I love this product for many different projects. Definitely worth checking out, especially is you can find a coupon.

Add Some Sparkle To Your Crafts

4

The first time I tried Crayola Glitter Glue I hated it; it seemed like it came out in clumps instead of flowing like white school glue. I wrote Crayola and asked them about it and they sent me a prepaid mailer to send the tubes and the packaging back to them. They replied about a week later with a letter and three packages of the glitter glue sticks. They said, in the letter, that the glitter glue sticks were old and extremely tacky so that's why it was so hard to get it out of the tube. If you have ever encountered that with these in the past, that might be why. The colors are nice but these aren't primary colors so if you are looking for yellow, green and black you are going to be out of luck. The colors in the nine count pack include standard blue, ruby, teal, light blue, standard red, bronze, gold, silver and white. The white is a nice accent on colored paper or to paint on with a brush over marker or ink. You can use this directly from the tube or add it to a plastic cup and mix in a little white school glue to paint it on surfaces. The glue is non-toxic and acid free but it isn't labeled as being archival safe so if you are thinking about using this for scrapbooking you are going to want to test it out and see how it reacts with the papers and photos you are working with. Most of the time I use this with white glue to paint on unfinished wood, card stock and for seasonal crafts. One of the main reasons I keep buying this is because I can mix the glitter glue with other glues that dry clear so it is easier to spread on projects and it doesn't flake off of most surfaces.

Crayola Washable Glitter Glue

Who doesn't love glitter? These Crayola Washable Glitter Glue sticks are amazing. I often get these to do little art crafts with my sister or son. We usually get it everywhere. It isn't too hard to clean off if you get it off right away. The only bad thing is there never seems to be enough glitter in these tubes. Still fun for little art activities.

Colorful and Easy to Clean

These glitter glue pens are great for making decorative art on paper! It is conveniently in the shape of a pen, the size of a marker, and it is easy to squeeze the glitter glue onto the paper. The glue dries clear so that only the hardened glitter remains. It is easy to clean up and there is very little mess.

GLITTER GLUE: adds PIZAZZ to my recycled Christmas cards!

4

**Crayola GLITTER GLUE **works just fine for some sparkle on my recycled Christmas postcards.  How long can a person store old cards?  A couple of years ago I cut the backs off and kept the art.  This year, I've trimmed the art down to meet Post Office specifications for postcards.  I cut a piece of cardboard to the P.O. maximum six by four-1/4 inches.  If my card fronts were too large, I set the cardboard on them, marked dimensions, and trimmed to the maximum size or less.  Any card *smaller *than 3-1/2 by 5 inches didn't qualify for mailing.  Without their innards, some of these cards seemed less than joyful.  That's where the **GLITTER GLUE **came in.  My first tries were really fumbly.  I'd get a bigger glob of **GLITTER GLUE** on the card than I wanted.  If it sat there, too long, it sometimes changed the color of the paper around it.  Eventually I learned that dotting and immediately stroking the glue outward worked well.  Some of the best effects included silvery snowbanks, gold lighted windows, sparkly green on evergreens, and touches of color on stocking caps and scarves.  I worked side-by-side with my friend Pat.  She applied her "Post Card" stamp vertically on the blank backs of the cards.  We were soon surrounded by our work because the glue took quite a while to dry. I'm as happy that this product is non-toxic and washable as any mom would be giving it to her kids (three and over).  I also understand the choking hazards if I were to drop one of the caps *or *the irritations that might result from drawing on the skin with **GLITTER GLUE**. My Christmas postcards are now ready to go.  Pluses involve lower postage, shorter notes (!), and recycling of attractive cards from the past.  If any of my friends recognize their card as one they originally sent, well...  I'll have to send them a prize in a regular envelope!

Glitter glue: The most glitter-ful Easter eggs ever!

5

I've been teaching since the stone ages when we had kids write or draw in glue, hold paper over a box top, sprinkle and try to get the excess glitter back into the little container. Crayola has made it a little easier and a lot less messy with glitter glue sticks. **Crayola glitter glue sticks: ** -come in a pack of nine colors with primary colors and metalics -shaped like a marker so they are friendly for little hands -write or draw on anything from paper to Easter eggs **Tips for using Crayola glue sticks:** I usually "knead" the tubes for a minute to get things flowing before I hand them to young kids. Also teach kids to wipe the top off with a wet wipe before they put the tops back on so the glitter glue sticks will be unclogged and ready to go next time. ***My Viewpoint:*** At school Crayola glitter glue can add sparkle to bulletin boards or book reports. We also use the glitter glue sticks to jazz up holiday crafts at home or put a special touch on our Sunday School crafts at church. Thanks Crayola!

fun but...

I love glitter glue and my daughter does too. It's great that she can use glitter without getting it all over the place. However after the third or fourth use she has a problem getting it out anymore and honestly so do I. It is not the most economical when I have to throw out the tube with lots of glue still in it because we can't get the rest out. We have cut the tubes to 'scoop' the remaining out but than it will dry up and not be useful anymore anyway. I had found a glitter 'paint'--I believe from Crayola as well and love that. It does dry up quickly too but she can spread it on with a brush (built in) and it was so much easier. I still do buy glitter glue but it seems easier to squirt it out and 'paint' it with a paintbrush--otherwise it comes our 'globby'. I also use it a lot for my craft projects. I wish it would be more 'condensed' though. It is a bit light after it dries. But the glitter stays put!

Glitter not glittery

2

I bought Crayola glitter pens for my preschool class at church to use for a special project.  What I found is the children had a lot of difficulty squeezing the glitter out of the pen.  It required the assistance of an adult.  Furthermore, the pen would get clogged with the glitter causing nothing to come out.  The gliiter was beautiful when we were able to get it out but the children were very frustrated with the pens.  I would not suggest these pens for the younger age children.  They make the projects take twice as long and much assistance is required.
