Crayola Tadoodles Tub Crayons make bath time fun!

Crayola Tadoodles Tub Crayons are great fun. My nineteen month old son got a pack for Christmas (along with the regular Crayola Tadoodles Crayons) and he has been playing with them ever since. I like that they are easy for a toddler to grip. We have used other tub crayons in the past but they are small and hard to hold. Other crayons also break too easily when a toddler holds them even a little too tight. Once the crayon gets worn down, it is very easy to push the crayon up by twisting the base of the crayon. I also like how easy it is too clean the crayon off the shower wall. A wet wash cloth is the only thing you need to wipe down any marks. It you do not wipe the marks off they will stay on the shower wall even when the shower has been run. There is only one thing I would change about the Crayola Tadoodles Tub Crayons. I wish the base that held the crayon was the same color as the actual crayon. I am trying to teach my toddler his colors and it is hard when the base he is holding is different from the color that shows up.

Rub-a-dub-dub it's fun in the tub

I was very skeptical before purchasing these, as we have had difficult with the other Crayola TaDoodle products. I was afraid of this product may mean based on that alone. Would the marks not come off in the tub? Would the crayon bleed into the water and temporarily stain my toddlers skin? Let me assure you, this is not the case. We purchased these for the first time around Christmas and I wrote high up in the tub MERRY CHRISTMAS, just to test them out and to show my toddler how they worked. We left that message up for about a week and it still rinsed off with ease. My son's set actually came with 2 shape floaties and the shapes punch out to become stencils. My son actually likes the stencils more than the crayons and usually just leaves the crayons floating in the water. However, he doesn't seem to have as much trouble holding these crayons as he does the first marks and the crayons and I'm not sure as to why.

We use them every bath-time!

Our daughter loves to color. It makes no difference if its pencils, pens, crayons, or markers and whether or not she has a coloring book or plain paper, or even sometimes paper that's already been colored on! Now she even get to color in the bathtub! These tub crayons last for months and are so easy to use. She draws pictures, writes letters, and makes elaborate scribbles from one side to the other of our bathtub every time we give her a bath. And the scribbles are as easy as can be to wash off with regular water and a washcloth. Even the few times we've forgotten to wash them off when they're fresh (sometimes even after a couple of days) it didn't take much elbow grease to scrub them off with a shower cleaner and sponge. Even Mommy and Daddy have gotten in on the action a few times and helped our daughter make pretty pictures on the wall of the shower. We love these crayons, they make bathtime super fun and easy!

My little one loves these in the tub.  They get the most use out of any tub toy we have purchased, even squirty toys.  I do not have tiled walls, it's a built in tub and do find that if you do not wipe off the crayon immediately it will stain your walls and tub.  I do not think it is anything the "Magic Eraser" will not get rid of with a little bit of elbow grease.  They do tend to get messy as the longer they stay in the water/stay wet (they do float however), the softer the crayon becomes.  The colors are rich and bright and because it is Crayola, I feel good knowing it is non-toxic.  The products tend to be on the expensive side and you will not find the refills in stores.  However, I have contacted Crayola about this in the past and they have been helpful in sending me some refills.  This tells me that customer service is great and cares about their consumers.  These tub crayons are the only way I can get my little one to color!

Great for your artist!

The Crayloa Tadoodles Tub Crayons are exceptional for every little artist in the family! Do you have a child that likes to color on everything, including your walls??? Well, I certainly do, and with these Crayola Tub Crayons, my son can enjoy what he loves to do most in the tub, where it won't hurt anything, or cause me to have to repaint. It definitely encourages creativity and helps them to learn better eye hand coordination. The colors are very vibrant, and will show up great, unlike a lot of tub crayons. These are great for little toddler hands to grasp, and easy for them to use. The only thing I have a problem with is it only comes with 3 in a package, and can get expensive if your child is hard on crayons. My son loves to look at the packaging of the crayons a lot. We will continue to buy these awesome tub crayons to encourage his learning capabilities. I just know your little one will love these!

LOVE LOVE LOVE! Great for kids and Moms!

I LOVE CRAYOLA BATH TUB CRAYONS! And not just for my kids, but for me! I actually bought an entire package just to keep in my shower. I know that sounds a little weird but let me explain. Being a busy working mom of two I don't have much quiet time, or alone time to organize my thoughts and prioritize my time....... except in the shower. it is the one time of the day that I'm actually alone... with no destractions. So, I take a couple extra minutes in the shower and grab a Crayola Bath Tub Crayon and make my to do lists, shopping list, groceries, party planning, etc. Anything that has been rolling around in my head during the day that I need to dump on paper, or a shower wall, and get organized. And the great thing is if i need to referrence it. I just go back to the bath room and check, or transfer it to paper. And when I'm done with the list, it just washes away. Crayola Bath Tub Crayons are inexpensive, come in a variety of fun colors (for color coding my lists of course), they are non-toxic and wash away without staining my tub, shower or walls.

Great, creative product!

I bought these Crayola bath crayons as a gift for my two sons, ages 1 and 3. The set somes with many different colors which is mostly what made it stand out to me on the shelf from among all the other bath toys. As with other Crayola products, these are non-toxic and thus are safe for sensitive skin. Each crayon comes covered in its own individual rubber "wrapper", thus preventing the crayons from "melting" in the bath. Each crayon has a little lever to push up the crayon out of the wrapper as the crayon is used up. My kids loved using these crayons from. They enjoy coloring on the bathroom walls, the bathtub, and their skin. They even color on each others backs! We crayon washes off easily from skin. However, it requires some scrubbing to wash it off the walls. The crayons stay nicely in the wrappers and do not melt. At times, however, they do fall out of their wrappers. I highly recommend these good quality bath crayons for some bathtime fun.

Nice idea, but they are messy and short lived.

My little ones thought it would be great to color with these!  These crayons come in three primary colors.  My boys played with these crayons for about three baths.   Initially they were a lot of entertainment.  They colored all over the bath tub and then some.  The problem is, how many kids clean up after themselves?  Not only do you clean your kids, but now you have to clean the bathtub.  They can be messy, and the last thing a mom needs to do at the end of a hard day is clean up another mess.  They crayons were also hard for my youngest to hold.  My older son who is now 4 did okay.  The crayons also can wear down quite fast.  If this doesn't happen then the most likely scenario is that the crayons themselves will fall out of the holders.  Then the crayons become useless and start to become combat toys.   So overall, cute idea, but my toddlers really didn't get a lot of playtime with these.  They were definitely short lived in my house.

Son loves them - mom not so much.

We bought the Tadoodles Bath Crayons.  My son absolutely loves them... I personally don't care that much for them.  The colors don't actually stain, but you really have to scrub to get them off the walls, tub, etc.  Also, when we bought them, I noticed in the instructions on how to advance the crayon, it also tells you how to insert a refill.  We looked high and low for the bath crayon refills.  Finally I went to the Crayola website, still couldn't find them, so I emailed Crayola Customer Service, explained the issue and within 48hrs they had replied to me. The rep told me they actually did not sell refills for the bath crayons - however they were sending me some FREE!  Within a week we had a package in the mail with refills for all of the colors of the bath crayons.  NICE!  Now if they would actually sell them....  because I refuse to buy new ones each time he runs out.  Also a few weeks later we got another package of Crayola along with a letter stating that since I was a loyal customer they would like for me to extend a new product sample from them for free!  We got a package of the new Toddler Washable Crayons from their new line.  So they do have excellent customer service. And while their products are great, they tend to be overpriced and they don't really plan ahead.  I mean, you don't sell refills for the Tadoodles Bath Crayons?  But you insert a pamplet on how to refill them?  Fix that!  lol
