review »My son is 22 months old. We tried these once before when he was 16 months and I assumed he was too young. He has excellent motor skills so I thought he'd be ready now.
These are awkward to hold and even when he gets a grip he has to hold them completely stright up and down to have it make a mark. Instead of having fun, he wound up being completely frustrated.
As for not making a mess, we both have first marks all over our hands and fingers.
my 23 month ols son loves these. they are a bit expensive but kids love them, very fun
