I love Target, and this product is one of the reasons why.  Target happens to put their school supplies on clearance at this time of year.  I love it when they do this!  You can stock up on craft supplies, pens, even tissues at 30-50% off.  Even though I have always considered tissues a stretch for school supplies, this year they have gotten even more creative.  I picked up a few products that, as a former teacher, I feel have no school value but LOVE for my boys.

The Crayola Color Wonder Mess-Free School Tote is one of those products.  Those of you familiar with Color Wonder products know that they are amazing.  I don't know what kind of voodoo Crayola uses, but they have actually created craft products (finger paint, markers, crayons, etc.) that only make marks on a special kind of paper.  Usually these products can be pricey.  However, this tote on clearance was only $5!  I found the tote online for $15!

In the tote, I found a 24 page Color Wonder coloring book , a 20 page Color Wonder mini tablet and six Color Wonder Markers.  I picked it up for my car.  My family likes to take road trips frequently and my kids usually get stuck with a Magna Doodle to draw with.  This will definitely keep him occupied for longer periods of time.  Usually, my toddler deems these products as his "magic paper".  He's amazed just to watch the colors appear.  The tote is mesh so I can easily grab what I want and it's small enough to fit in the storage pockets of our car.  Oh, and don't forget I don't have to worry about how my kid will look when we take him out of the car, how the car will look when he's done or if he decided that his baby brother needed a make-over while I was navigating for my husband.

This tote will give me at least 30 more minutes of no more "Are we there yet" banter.  Definitely worth the money and peace of mind!

Please Note:  The picture is of the same product, but it's actually called a travel tote here.  HMMMMMMMMM..... someone else had my idea.

Nice job on the review and have I welcomed you? Well anyway I assume this isn't part of the recall which is just awful! Jo

CyndiA... don't laugh. Last week we were stuck in our basement until a storm blew over and I had a ball with the Color Wonder coloring book with my son. It's great as a stress reducer!

I will have to find a local Target. I love sales and cool art supplies. My boys are older than for this product, but maybe I would enjoy it (-: I think we get younger as we age.
