My kids loved the Aquadoodle mat. It came in very handy when I needed to get something done and needed them to stay still, but still have fun. This mat was bigger than it looked on the box. I was pleasantly surprised. The water pen that it comes with is great because the water doesn't come pouring out of it. It doesn't really even come out that fast. The water pen lid unscrews and it is filled with water and then screwed back on. It's really easy to use and I later found out that you can by more things that go with it for more water fun (like different water pens). The kiddos can draw their water pictures and they will eventually dry up and the mat will be waiting to draw a new picture on. It actually dries pretty fast. I like this because if any water gets anywhere it's no big deal because it's just water. It also is good to fold up and take on the go to someone's house or on a trip. They also sell little water boards that unfold in a book for fun on road trips. This really is a neat toy. We still have ours and just pulled it out again last month. Fun stuff!

This product is great, even for my 18 month old. He loves to draw on the mat and has a lot of fun with it. My only issue is that if you get anything on the mat like milk or dirt it doesn't come off easily. Liquid stains (other than water) leave a ring on the mat. Despite that, I even have fun using it while I'm playing with my son.

My 3 year old son absolutely loves to color and draw. When I got him this Aquadoodle it was amazing. He could color all over this mat, but without making a huge mess. It prevents him from coloring on my walls. I dislike how there is a lack of color choice, but I do love this product and would recommend it to anyone.

I have to admit, I was a skeptic. But I finally broke down and got it and I am so glad I did! It is the cleanest craftiest thing I have ever seen. My kids love this and my daycare kids love this! My carpet loves this :p no more messy accidents with paint or markers. I love that it draws with water and the kids can be a creative as they want. They can even dunk their hands in water and make palm prints. The colors that display are bright and fun, its memorising. I love to get down there with them and try a re create the pictures that are on the side of the mat. But my absolute favorite is the fact that clean up is a breeze. Simply fold and put away. That's it. It's great! We went ahead and got a smaller one for the car. its so much fun to see the picture dry up and disappear. If I had to pick a down side it would be that I ave to fill the little pens with water often :( other then that, we really enjoy it. It's great family fun.

I got my son the Crayola Aquadoodle about a year ago and he loves it! I got the Thomas the Tank accessories to go with it and he loves to drive it around and make tracks and stamps. This is perfect for a child that loves to color because it is virtually mess-free! All you need is water and kids can have hours of fun coloring and drawing on the Aquadoodle mat. My son still plays with this all the time and I'm sure my daughter will love to play with it soon enough when she is interested in drawing/coloring. The only issue that I encountered was the one day the Aquadoodle mat was put away wet and it ended up getting moldy. I had to soak it in bleach and water and scrub it and then it was perfectly fine. From then on, I've made sure that the mat is spread out and allowed to dry after being used. Sometimes my 3 year old doesn't quite understand, but for the most part, he's good about it. I would definitely recommend this toy to someone with small children!

My son has had this Aquadoodle for about a year. It was given to him as a gift. I rated the aquadoodle 5 stars because it is a perfect way for a little boy or girl to feel like they are writing or coloring without making any sort of mess in your house. It uses only water so even if they use the "marker" to write on something else it is only water and won't stain or ruin anything. It is perfect for just spreading out on the floor and letting my son lay there and draw away without worries. My son has also developed his grip and has gotten better with lettermaking/drawing thanks to the Aquadoodle. He now is to the point where he will fill up his own "marker" whenever he needs to and then continue to draw. It is a great toy that can be educational and can be used indepentantly by the child or with a parent as a teaching tool. I will for sure be buying another Aquadoodle in the future for my next little boy!

I work from home and my one year old is constantly grabbing my pens and drawing all over my desk and work papers. I got the Aquadoodle for her so she would have the ability to draw and not make a mess. The pen is filled with water so there is no ink mess or stains. It is also a large sized pen so it is easy for her to grab and it is safe is she puts the pen in her mouth and no sharp points so she won't poke her eye out.  And there is no waste of paper since the images on the drawing mat just fade away after a few minutes. It is also very portable so you can roll it up and take it on the go. A great thing to keep a child busy if at a restuarant. I think it is a great invention and highly recommend the product. It allows my child to express her creative side without me having to constantly make sure she is not drawing on the walls, furniture etc. Overall this is a great product and I would definitely buy the other Aquadoodle items that are on the market.
