Craigslist Review

Craigslist (san antonio) is nothing but a waste of time because of the flaggers. I try posting ads trying to rescueunwanted small critters like rabbits and guinea pigs and I kept getting flagged and my ad would get deleted. I'm trying to help people and animals and rude people have my ad deleted. I've also seen many complaints posted as ads of many people who want to help pets and are disgusted and annoyed with people flagging their ads as well.Today I read this  one complaint from this one user who was trying to re-home a bull mastiff she tryed to rescue. Here's the ad posted by her neighbor  keep in mind that CL=craigslist :

////Hi, my neighbor is the one trying to re-home Bo Diddly (the bull mastiff). They already have 3 dogs and they found Bo wondering the streets. After taking Bo to the vet on multiple occasions they decided to put him up for adoption. They went to two "rescues" here in Bexar county and were offended by the rude remarks made about them. The rescue group treated them as if they were bad dog owners who didn't want a dog. This made no sense to them considering they were the ones who took Bo off the street.

Unfortunatly they decided to use CL after I recommended it to them. They were harrassed, threatened, and were called all kinds of profanities by CL users. What I don't understand is why they went through all this bad treatment when they were trying to re-home a pure bred bull mastiff for free. The reason they had to get rid of him is because the vet said that Bo would need therapy and they couldn't afford the treatment he would need./////

So because of people who don't know how to flag an ad or have something against dogs and people that need help, Bo was put to sleep. As much as I love animals I am very upset with craigslist for having the flagging system because in the hands of the irrisponsible user cases like Bo Diddly's are going to be happining all the time. I think to make the flagging system better instead of having the ad deleted, the flagger should have to send the person who posted the ad an e-mail on why their ad was flagged so that way the poster can know what they did wrong.

Although Craigslist has more pros than cons I feel that untill the flagging is controlled Craigslist is more of a con than a pro.
