Craigslist Review

     I am always into finding a great deal.  When I heard about Craigslist, I was intrigued.  Being a mother of two little girls, money is always tight so I love when I can find a great deal.  I absolutely fell in love with Craigslist.  To me, it is similar to eBay in a lot of ways.  The only main difference is that it is local, and not an auction.  Craigslist is a great place to find great deals though.

     First of all, there is such a great variety on Craigslist.  You can find anything from merchandise, cars, jobs, and even housing and child care.  Anything that you can imagine that you may want or need, you can find.  The nice thing about Craigslist is that you can select your location, and you will only see results from that area.  This is nice because you are deally locally, and you will not have to worry about shipping.

     Craigslist is also a great place when you need to clean house.  It is free to create an account with them, and you do not have to give out personal information to use it.  This is nice if you are concerned about giving info out on the internet.  I like to use Craigslist just after a garage sale to get rid of the rest.  It does not cost you anything to list items on Craigslist, and you can choose how potential buyers contact you.  You can do business via email, or you can give out your phone number, whatever you choose.

     With any online community, you are going to have people trying to scam you.  You need to stay as safe as possible when communicating over the internet because you never know who is on the other end of the computer.  If you are selling something and someone is coming over to your home, make sure there is more than one adult with you.  If you are meeting at a public place to make the sale, choose a place in daylight with high traffic.  And of course, never travel alone to someone else's home.

      Craigslist is a great place to find anything you may be looking for.  I have found several deals on there, and I am sure you can too!
