Good for the average household

Overall it's really good around the house. Not a commercial blower. It's really good for moving leaves and grass clippings after you have mowed the yard. It is pretty much a heavy duty broom. Another good use is cleaning out the garage Weight Not the lightest but is powerful Performance Very powerful and useful outside Handling Easy to move around Ease of Use Just a pull cord and it gets going Durability Runs well for 2 yrs so far. Had to change the air filter one time

Craftsman Shop Vac/Blower 16 gallon 6.5 hp gets the job done!

5

My husband received the Craftsman Shop Vac/Blower as a christmas present five years ago when we became homeowners.  I didn't think much of it, as it's a guy's toy, but I honestly think I've used it more than he has.  It LOOKS like a monster of a machine, but it's incredably light weight so I can haul it around easily.  The cord tucks neatly into the top of the machine so it's up and out of the way.  It has a nice sized hose that makes vaccuming out the car a breeze with attachments to get into the little tight areas with no hindrances at all.  While the hose has a nice length, the cord itself allows the little monster to follow me in circles around the car without getting hung up on anything, and the 6.5 horsies in this thing are almost enough to rip *stains* right out of the carpet.  I joke, but it's only to show how incredibly powerful this thing is!  When our house vaccuum quits on us, (we have terrible luck with household vaccuums), we bring in this machine to take care of the house, and it works like a dream.  My husband is the one who uses it as a blower, and says that switching it to reverse airflow is really easy, and he loves how quickly he can get a job done .  We're so very happy with this gift, and would have happily paid the money for it if it needed to come out of our own pocket.

Can do without

2

I've given my leaf blower many chances to prove itself year after year. In the amount of time to run the power cable and clear my driveway, a rake and broom would've been sufficiant. The blower is loud and you can't control where to blow your leaves. What's the point if you need to bag your leaves anyways? and don't even bother using the suction feature because you'll just burn out the motor. I would invest my money in a lawn mower that has the vacuum feature. You can either bag or compost your leaves by just running it over. Seriously, a leaf blower is not what it's all cracked up to be, save the space in your garage for something more beneficial.  So before you pull out the plastic, make sure you know you'll absolutely need this thing. If you do get one, please make sure you get eye protection and ear plugs. As always, please read owners manual, use common sense and all protection gear when using power tools. Good night and be safe!

Craftsman Electric Leaf Blower does the job and you can hear it!

4

We have owned our Craftsman Electric Leaf Blower for three years now and absolutely believe it has withstood everything job we have done with it.  First and formost, this blower is extremely durable.  We looked at much more expensive brands/models and yet the Craftsman appeared to be the most durable.  We liked the ease of use of this blower.  The direction of the air stream is easily adjusted by rotating the nozzle while blowing.  Additionally, our blower has a vac bag attachment so we can actually pick up what we are blowing.  We have used it for a variety of uses: blowing edging clippings, blowing the cut grass off of the lawn, gathering leaves that have fallen from the trees in the yard, blowing out gutters, cleaning the front porch of debris, and many other uses.  We have not had one problem with the function of the blower and I would say during the summer we use it twice a week.  The drawback of the blower is the noise.  It is quite a powerful piece of equipment but it can be very loud when used (not sure that any other blower would be quieter).  All in all this blower has done the job we needed it to do without any malfunction.

Craftsman gas powered leaf blower/vac

3

I recently purchased a new Craftsman gasoline powered 2 stroke leaf blower/vacuum to replace an older broken model. It was ready to use right out of the box and all I had to do was assemble the blower tube sections and mix the supplied oil with a gallon of gas, and fill up the plastic gas tank on the blower. This leaf blower/vac is one of the easiest starting blower/vacs that I have ever owned. All you need to do is place the red lever on start, squeeze the small primer bulb 4 times slowly, and pull on the starter cord. It starts after 1 or 2 pulls on the starter cord. Let it run for about 5 seconds and place the red lever on run or even easier just squeeze the trigger which does it for you! Using the trigger control you can vary the blowing velocity very easily. Using the vacuum feature requires you to remove the blower tube and attach the vacuum attachment and the vacuum zipper bag. Overall this Craftsman blowwer/vac is easy to start, easy to blow leaves and easy to vacuum up leaves/grass etc. I highly recommend purchasing one of these units. It is relatively light in weight but does a very good job for what it was designed to do!

The Craftsman Leafblower does more than just blow leaves.

**I love my Craftsman Leafblower.   I started mowing and edging a friends lawn, keep in mind this lawn had not been edged ever.   I started clearing away the dirt and weeds from around the sidewalk, drive way and curbs, after working for hours I was ready to stop for the day so I went and got the Craftsman Leafblower and started blowing away what I had already mowed and cut with the weed eater,  to my suprise as I hels the leafblower  towards the dirt and grass next to the side walk and curb that was still hard and attached it started lifting up the dirt and clearing it away.  I was already tired and going to stop for the evening but once I started with my Craftsman I knocked it out thinking the entire time "wow I could have already been done and less tired if I started with my Craftsman Leafblower"  I am not in very good health so for me to beable to use my Craftsman Leafblower and enjoy it says alot.  It has a great shape for handling and light weight for so much power.     **

unreliable over the long term

Craftsman 25cc m/n 358 leafblower starts easily, but the inter-locking nozzles need a clamp to hold them together better. My model lasted for about a year before developing a leak in the fuel line and gumming up, causing it to not run smoothly.  I am sure  I used the proper fuel/oil mixture.

Great Helper to have is the Craftsman Leaf Blower

The Craftsman leaf blower, is a rugged piece of equipment. It is a no frills device and designed to give many years of service to the average home owner. It is very easy to use . Just plug it in, switch it on and aim. The Craftsman leaf blower has ample power to get the job done. The weight is such that just about any one should be able to use it without any difficulity. The extension tube and nozzle makes easy on the back since you really don't have to bend over to direct the air flow. If you are a home owner that does his or her lawn the Craftsman leaf blower is a tool that will save time and is a heck of easir to use than a broom.  Sure makes cleaning the yard up much easier.  My son brings it over and cleans up our yard too.   Seems to run great for him even thos it is quite noisey it does a great job for him.  Craftsman is a name you can count on for quality and great products.  I would definitely recommend it to others.
