Craftsman Lawn Mower — 

     I have been attempting to purchase your advertised clearance item 070712860500 for 2 weeks now. It is  a 17.5 hp riding lawnmower listed as a clearance item in my Sunday newspaper for the last two weeks.  I have already complained that the item was not available at all in my area last week... To my dismay, I see it listed as a for sale clearance item again in today's paper...so I immediately checked for availability in orlando /online so that I could purchase the item for pickup today. To my disgust, I found it unavailable at all 5 stores in Orlando.   Since I checked the internet  for availability before the stores opened this morning,I am assuming that this add is misleading and the product is not available at all.  Why is it still listed in the ad as a clearance item if the quantity in stock is 0. I think that is called false advertising and my response from Sears complaint department  has been nonexistent...

As this is a re-decaled version of the Husqvarna 28803 at about $500 less than the Husqvarna model, I cannot see you going too wrong with it. It is sure to outlast the MTD version. You could always spend $800-1000 more to get the Snap-on equivalent that will last longer, but that is the cost of a new tractor.

Hi, I work for Sears and can clear up the confusion. Item 28605 is only for stores in California due to their emission standards, therefore it is unavailable in Orlando. You should be able to find item 28803 , an identical item, readily available online and at your local Sears store.
