Craftsman Cordless Drill Reviews

I bought a Craftsman Cordless Drill 19.2 amps for my dad for Christmas, and out of all the power drills he owns, this is the first one he reaches for, he absolutely loves how great this works.  The battery lasts for days on end, and doesn't take very long at all to recharge either.  I bought this from our local Kmart for only $70.00 almost 2 years ago, and the power drill is still his favorite power tool.  He works as a mechanic as well on semi's, just this last spring he decided to purchase one for work, and used it when ever he can, so this isn't just a tool for just in the house-he's used...

I have a Craftsman 19.2v combo set which is about 18 months old.. and BOTH of the NiCd batteries no longer hold a charge.

So I went to Sears this afternoon, looked long and hard at replacement batteries, (both NiCd and Li-on). I settled on this dril combo set because it has 2 19.2's and the angle drill (which my original combo set did not) for $109. But if you are going to purchase this set... watch the sales .. It has been as low as $89.

This is now my 4th Craftsman drill.. and I have always had great preformance from them (even the one I dropped from a second story window onto concrete).

The Craftsman 19.2V Cordless drill is great dependable drill of its type and price.

Downside is the weight but is compensated for the handle for heavier drilling. I suggest getting ther Li-Ion Battery.
