Something was not right

We bought this wrench kit at work for some around the office repairs and decoration jobs, but this product seemed to have something wrong with it from the very beginning. After several of the guys in my office were unable to change out pieces, one person finally got it to work and then within thirty minutes of using it, it began to get very hot and smoke from the back. We stopped using it and let it cool off for about an hour, thinking that we overworked the battery. We turned it back on, but within about five minutes, it began to do it again. It was almost too hot to grab the handle near the battery. We changed out the battery and replaced it, but we had the same issue again. I immediately returned the item and bought a different brand, and we have not had any problems since. I'm not confident in Craftsman cordless drills/wrenches because this is not the first time I have had problems with them. I would suggest investing money in a better brand.
