I really must begin by pointing out how deceiving this stool is based on the price! It's so inexpensive to be such high quality! If I were walking the aisles while shopping and saw this chair sitting next to all the other similar ones (that are three times the price or more), I would think it was cheaply made and not purchase it. I must point out that my father has another Craftsman adjustable chair (much more pricey, fancier looking and a vinyl padded stool), and I kid you not, his broke the first month he had it. This stool is super sturdy, was very easy to assemble, and just so darn handy. My husband actually got me one too, because I have a tendency to slouch while doing DIY/ crafty things. I love it in my craft room! It doesn't roll nearly as well on carpet, but it still rolls enough for me, and even has a nifty tray underneath, which gives me an extra handy spot to put things I'm often reaching for. I love it!

Projects in my garage just got a great deal easier since I have added the Craftsman Adjustable Mechanics Seat to the list of garage toys in my possession. I am now able to sit on a stool instead of sitting on the ground when a regular chair won't work. In addition, I am now able to get rid of a couple of different seating options for my garage since this one is adjustable. The wheels on the bottom are a great added touch. The one problem I have with the wheels on the bottom of the Craftsman Adjustable Mechanics Seat is that they are a little smaller than I would prefer and sometimes get stuck on a screw or bolt I accidentally drop on the floor of my workspace. The seat itself is rather comfortable, even for slightly extended periods of time. While I generally prefer to be working standing up, there are definitely times that I should be sitting or need to be sitting and I am thankful that the Craftsman Adjustable Mechanics Seat works for all of my workspaces in my garage.

I purchased the Craftsman Adjustable Mechanics Seat two years back when our house was under renovation. This seat looks quite classy and has a good finish and color as well due to which I chose this one. The product has an adjustable seat and depending on the height of a person, the product seat can be adjusted accordingly with the help of the hand lever. The product is quite strong quality wise and is handy was well. The product does not bear any scratches even though it has been used for over two years now and it did not get rusted as well due to the powder coating. The weight of this mechanical seat is only 16 pounds and it is extremely easy to clean it due to the material it is made of. It is definitely a quality product and it is not at all risky to stand on the seat and do work like drilling, painting and so on. I often only use this seat when there is work to be done in the house and it is used by the workmen and they feel quite comfortable using this product.
