We bout this Weedwacker to replace a different one that constantly needed new line.  This was supposed to use a bigger line (hardier, more durable); but I probably had to replace it 15 times during an hour of work.  When the line is new, the trimmer works wonderfully!  It just wears way to quickly and is ineffective within minutes.  Not only is there a problem with the line; the place where you pulg in the extension cord seems loose... I mean, the cord kept falling out.  I have learned that working with electric (corded) weekwackers are just not worth my time.  Dealing with the extension cord, kicking it out of the way so that I don't wack it by accident, it's just too much work.                                                                                                                         While I hate the effect on our environment, I do believe that our next trimmer will have to be gas powered.
