The best wrench set I have ever owned!

In the old days everything was standard but as the global economy grew metric sizes were introduced into the mix. There came a time after working on vehicles with my Dad for so long I could tell you the size of a nut or bolt by looking at it. Once metric came along I had to learn those as well. There are times however you will come across both on the same fastener....yes it is frustrating but I overcame that by using a wrench that works on both!

Craftsman 3 piece Adjustable Wrench set

Sometimes you have to work blind, especially when working underneath a vehicle or behind the dash of one. Here is where an adjustable wrench comes in very handy, you need only turn the thumb wheel to get any size you need to remove or fasten a nut/bolt. With the 3 sizes in this set I can do almost every thing I need to do and like I said before it can be metric or standard, it will work on them all.

This set comes in 6", 8" and 10" so it will work on a great variety of jobs you may have. Working on a bicycle is a snap with an adjustable, so is a lawn mower or a rototiller. I also have a 12" and an 18" adjustable wrenches but those are another review.

Whether you need to do a small job or a larger one this 3 piece set should get the job done for you. In conjunction with other tools you can quickly get any job done and get it done right. Even removing bits from an air tool these adjustable wrenches have saved me time and headaches as an air tool usually has 2 different sized fasteners to change bits.

Bottom Line

An adjustable wrench can be your best friend at times when your not sure if its metric or standard. It saves a lot of walking back and forth to retrieve a different sized wrench to do the job. This wrench set is also included in the Craftsman Lifetime Warranty and that will save you replacement costs should one ever break on you. My set is probably 12 years old now but should one of them break they will give me a new wrench to replace it!

After a while it just becomes second nature for ya...I can look at a nut or bolt and tell you what size it is...lol ;)

I suspect that if someone handed me a wrench, I would spend a lot of time walking back and forth trying to retrieve someone who knew what to do with it BUT Craftsman is a wonderful name in tools and this review had a lot of valuable information.

Nice review. My husband wants to ask me to walk back and forth to retrieve the different sized wrenches. Hmmmm.....
