Craftsman makes amazing products and they are usually my go to manufacturer of choice for lawn products so when I needed a new standard lawn mower a number of years ago I immediately purchased the 22 inch Self Propelled Gas Lawn Mower. First, this is self propelled not push so it saves an incredible amount of labor for the operator. You just turn it on and walk behind it and it does all the work. All you do is maneuver it. I love that this model has a bagger, which is awesome for bagging both lawn clippings in the spring and summer and leaves in the fall. Granted, it does fill up rather quickly, but it's well worth it. It is also rather difficult to remove and reattach and that makes it frustrating after you have to empty it several times during one mowing session. The 22 inch mowing area is quite large for a standard type mower. It means less time mowing, which is always nice. Maintenance is super simple and I've only had to replace the blade once in the several years that i owned it and that was only because I hit a rock while mowing and physically bent the blade. Whether you have a smaller yard or a larger yard and you just prefer a walk behind mower this is a great option. It's powerful, easy to use, and durable.
