I worked on a crop farm the last two years and anytime we needed to fix a tractor or anything and everything you could ever imagine. However I myself learned that cheap quality isn't made for heavy machinery; so before I left for the day; I always made sure to bring my Craftsman 108 Piece Mechanics Tool set. The couple times I forgot it; I would either get stranded or I'd have to have someone bring it to me. This tool set outlasted five huge farming tractors; plus many other problems. I've had my Craftsman 108 Piece Mechanics Tool Set for just a little under two years. However, due to the top craftsmanship and great performance of Craftsman's products; I will never buy any other brand ever again. Thanks Craftsman. I give this tool set two thumbs up. My older brother has bought strictly Craftsman's products since adulthood. Now I understand why. He's been a journeyman electrician for over twenty years now. And he has never used anything else.

This is a great addition to anyone's toolbox. I purchased this tool set for my husband and he loves it. We use it all the time. Now, he doesn't have to search through his tool building to find every size attachment for his socket wrenches. I especially like that it. Ones with different sized Allen wrenches. These really come in handy when putting together furniture and even for some of the toys and bicycles our children received for Christmas. We keep this particular tool set in the house because we are often in need of a drill bit or socket wrench and this keeps us from having to search for individual tools in our tool shed. The case is great. Everything has its own place and it is very easy to find the piece you are looking for. The case is also compact enough that we are able to keep this set inside of our larger tool bag that we keep in the house. I would recommend this set to anyone who would like a nice addition to their tool bag.

With over one hundred pieces included in this mechanics tools set, you will find everything you need; I know I did. From doing small jobs on my cars to putting together toys for my kids, this set has come in handy many times. There is a wide variety of bits that are included, so you are bound to find something that fits your project. One of my favorite things about this set is that the tools are not too big and bulky. They do not get in the way when trying to work, and they fit into tight spaces well. The storage case helps keep everything organized and in place. I do wish that the case was a little nicer instead of just a thick plastic, but it does cut back on price some. The Craftsman Mechanics set is very reasonably priced for the amount of pieces you get. I would make this purchase again if I was given the opportunity. Overall, I have been very impressed with this set and would recommend it to anyone who asked.

Although this set is called a 108 piece set, so it sounds big, most of the pieces are the different sizes of sockets. So it really only comes with a couple ratchets (with different size drives and different length handles, the longer giving more torque), a couple common sizes of wrenches, and a couple allan keys. The rest are a lot of sizes of standard and metric sockets. The wrenches and the allan keys don't help much, because you'll probably end up getting a set of wrenches and a set of allan keys at some point, and these sizes will be included. It's always helpful to have a spare, but this particular set doesn't provide unique ones that you're unlikely to find elsewhere. The ratchet and socket set is very helpful though. It has most sizes that are commonly used on a vehicle, and I have found them helpful on working on ours. It's designed as a mechanic set, and this is helpful because sockets are often much more effective than wrenches in the confined spaces of a vehicle. I would recommend the sockets for car work and consider the few other tools an added bonus.

In 2013 the Craftsman 108 PC tool set was given to me as a gift. My husband and I have a contracting business that we do on the side. This tool set has really been the thing we needed to make our work easier. The easy grip handle makes the carrying case easy to transport. It really come in handy and I must say that I never run out of tools. Many of the tools however, I would never use because they are sizes I do not need. The set comes with nut drivers, socket wrenches, and accessories of all sizes. The tools will last a long time because of their durability. There would be no job that I need to do that I will have to worry about not having the right tools. I use to spend a lot of money making frequent trips to the hardware store. I travel with it in the car just in case I need to use it while I am out. The neatly packed tool set makes projects, fixing things, and work related jobs a lot easy.

A combination of factors brought this Craftsman product to my attention. So when I decided to ask for a birthday present to upgrade my tools I searched for the appropriate Craftsman product. The 108 piece set fit my needs perfectly. I am an old school at home mechanic. So my sockets were not metric. This made working on my car and new small engines a hassle. Now I am able to reach into the storage case and find the appropriate socket immediately. This is much easier than trying to use pliers to turn a metric nut or bolt. My newest side job using this set is taking apart scrap items. Previously if I had a scrap generator I would have to load the generator on my truck for its bulk value. Now I can disassemble the generator for the more valuable parts (aluminum, copper, brass) for a higher resale value. The protective molded case is a perfect storage unit. Complete enough to handle every homeowners jobs and light enough to carry to a friends house to work. The price is a great value for such a great product.

I bought this set for my husband four our five year anniversary. He absolutely love this set. My husband has used this mechanics set for practically everything. We live in a rainy area and one thing he is really impressed about- is that the tools have not rusted. He does dry them after he uses them, but they have sat out in the rain during many an oil change. These are easy for him to tote around in his truck and has even given me a Nascar style side of the road flat tire change- everything was easy and within reach he did it in about 10 minutes. Another fabulous feature Craftsman tools have is the wonderful lifetime warranty. My husband insists that I buy him Craftsman tools because of this feature. We have never used the warranty because these tools are amazing- but what an excellent thing to have. I would recommend these to anyone who works on engines, motors, etc. They really are an exceptional set.

I was looking for a basic, in its own case tool set to keep in my car. I was very pleased when I found this Craftsman 108 PC Mechanics Tools Set. The price was very reasonable. The return policy and warranty was excellent. I like the fact the case opens up and will lay flat, showing all the tools you need. The tabs open easily and close without difficulty. The whole tool set does not take up a lot of room and is not too heavy. the handles on the tools are smooth but designed in a way that makes holding on to them very comfortable. I found every tool was also easy to clean and keep clean. Some people might think this tool set is too big, but I have to ask them this question, "What are you going to do when that moment comes, you are some place where that tool you need is not available?" It is at that point that the tool you thought would be a waste of purchase has just become a tool of necessity. I found this tool set a definite worthwhile investment for my car to have on hand in case of emergencies.

If you are looking for a socket set, this is a great one to get! Craftsman is a tough and very high quality brand that stands behind their products. This particular mechanics set has a large variety of the smaller socket sizes. It would be helpful if there were some larger sockets in the set to compliment the smaller sized ones. I liked that the socket sizes are laser etched into them so that I didn't have to do any guesswork. It shows the metric and standard sizes. One of the sockets did crack while I was using it to work on a vehicle but the others seem to be fine. I have owned the set for eleven years and they are still going strong and look brand new. The case was tough and held up fine until I dropped it last year and a hinge broke. But it was ten years old at the time so I cannot complain. I have used it the most while working on our vehicles. The tools do everything they are supposed. This would be a great set to add to any garage. It would also make a fantastic gift since they are such high quality. Great product, great results.

This tool set has really come in handy. It is compact but has all the pieces you should need. A larger set is always nice but this set is small enough to keep in the back the truck for emergencies. It is also a good size for small apartments. I do a lot of work on my car and was having to borrow pieces but now I have everything I need. The case keeps things organized and is sturdy and heavy duty. I don't feel that I have to worry about being careful with it or it will break but instead that I can beat it up a little and it will last. I am very satisfied with this purchase. Craftsman is always a reliable tool company and I know that if for some reason a tool breaks, I will have no problems replacing it. I strongly recommend this size tool set if you are using it for personal use. If you are a professional or work on cars as a hobby an a bigger full size set would be a better choice for you.
