Subscriptions: $21.97 for 7 issues.

May also be available at your local library.

I love to create arts and crafts with my children and with students and when I want to find ideas for those crafts I turn to Pack-O-Fun crafts magazine, Crayola.com or my other favortie kids' crafts web sites

However, I also like to do grown ups crafts by myself for "me" time or along with girlfriends. Crafts 'n Things magazines even has a regular feature for "Girls Night In."

What I Like Most About Craft 'n Things Craft Magazine:

Decorating Ideas

Crafts 'n Things has fresh ideas for decorating. Unlike many crafty magazines, these ideas are not limited to a "country" look. I've found creative ways to decorate items I already owned from watering cans to pegged shelves.

Unique Homemade Gifts

Crafts 'n Things has many unique homemade gift giving ideas in every issue. Everyone has seen the "cookies in a jar" idea. This magazine offers cooler ideas like "blueberry scones in a jar."

Crafts' n Things magazine covers a wide range of crafts, some of which do not interest me at this point like knitting, needlepoint and water colors. However, they cover many areas that do interest me like beading, card making and photo frame crafts.

Each issue has a theme such as Gardening Crafts with over 100 project ideas and many full size patterns. The Wedding issue was so cool it almost made me want to get married again. Just kidding, honey, but I might use some of those ideas to celebrate our 10th anniversary!

The photos are very inspirational. Even if I am not able, or willing, to follow a project to the letter I find many usable tips for crafting and decorating.

My Viewpoint:

Crafts 'n Things magazine is an inspirational and user friendly magazine for serious crafters or those who enjoy finding fun decorating and unique gift giving ideas.

I enjoy seeing how crafts are made even when I'm not interested in making it myself. This magazine sounds like a good way to get inspiration for new crafting ideas. :)

This sounds like a real "keeper" magazine. I used to knit and crochet like crazy years ago and kept promising myself that SOMEDAY when I RETIRED, I would really get into it. And now, since I retired, guess what -- I haven't touched my needles. Did you have a big wedding? I bet you were such a pretty bride. I wish I could see a picture.
