I frequently forget to pack my own shampoo and conditioner while traveling, so this month I picked up a set of Crabtree and Evelyn's La Source Shampoo and Conditioner while out of town on business. After shampooing with the light and well-rinsing citrus-scented shampoo, I followed up with the matching scented conditioner.  While not quite as thick in comparison to other conditioners (which was kind of a disappointment, since the shampoo lathered up better than most), a modest-sized handful of the product easily covered my hair.  The conditioner rinsed clean, and left my hair feeling light, clean, and detangled. My biggest disappointment, however, was the lack of moisturization and frizz control.  While my hair was clean and tangle-free, I had more fly-a-way problems the next day than usual, and my hair felt much dryer to the touch.  So while it got the job done and left my hair with a pleasing (and not too overpowering) scent, it's not really something I would recommend unless better options were not available.

The Crabtree and Evelyn La Source Conditioner is...wonderful. More than likely part of the reason I like it so much is that it reminds of a spa and the resort I stayed at a few weeks back. See I first tried this conditioner when I was staying with my family at a Hilton resort in the southwest a few weeks ago, and I absolutely fell in love with it. It does everything a conditioner should do and more. Granted I wans't expecting much from this little bottle of conditioner from the resort, but, like everything else at the gorgeous resort, it was fantastic! It moisturizes and softens hair and of course keeps it hydrated which is a serious plus for those of us in Arizona where it is terribly dry. Then to add to it there is the sun beating down on us daily that dries your hair out even more, and there are even certain minerals in our water that dries your hair out further! This conditioner really helps with repairing thst damage though, and it also has a great fresh, spa scent to it! Wonderful!
