This product isn't great on my skin. It doesn't give enough coverage and is difficult to blend which results in it looking horrible on my skin. Foundation is supposed to be like a 'second skin' but this just feels like I've smothered dirt on my face, it dries way too quickly and is a little pricey for it's value. It's okay to use as stage makeup but not great for everyday use.

I purchased the CoverGirl TruBlend foundation because I finally found a foundation that is light enough for my skin! I am too light for even the lightest shades in most foundation brands, including higher end brands such as MAC. I don't even have the fairest skin color out there! For example, Nicole Kidman is much lighter than I am. That being said, I was very excited to finally have a foundation that matched my skin color and didn't leave me with a tinge of orange or require me to blend my foundation all the way down to my collarbone. However, this foundation provides NO COVERAGE! I don't know if I received a dud or what, but this has even less coverage than a tinted moisturizer! It literally does not cover anything on my face, let alone even out my skin tone to use as a base for another foundation or concealer. Even when I applied three layers of it, my skin looked exactly the same. However, I do like that it dries SUPER fast. I had been using the CoverGirl clean foundation, which takes a long time to dry. It gets tacky and transfers onto clothes, but this foundation dried super fast. Maybe this foundation didn't cover because the color was so light? I'm not sure how this foundation made it on the market. Did they not test this before mass producing it? Since it's discontinued, you may find it on clearance. Give it a try at a cheap price, because maybe my lot was a dud. I do like the pump and cover, making it easy to dispense and store. I also love the drying time. However, it's useless to me.

I wanted to try CoverGirl TruBlend Micro Minerals Foundation,in Classic Ivory 410 because it looked good and the fact that it is a mineral makeup.Mineral makeup gives my face a matte finish that I really like.I did not like the finish it gave my face.It makes my face look overly shimmery.The finish was not something I wanted to wear in daylight hours.The coverage is not that good.I would not suggest this makeup to cover inperfections.It would be better to just even out your skintone.It comes with a brush to apply it.The brush does not work very good.I used a different brush than the one it came with.It does a good job for shine control and it is lasting.Overall I felt this foundation did nothing more than a good powder could do for you.

I have always been a liquid foundation kind of girl followed by a generous application of loose powder. Often though I had a hard time matching drug store brands of foundation to my pale skin and my face would look "cakey" and not quite the right shade. Enter CoverGirl TruBlend Micro Minerals Foundation. My drugstore had a Buy One Get One sale on this, which when coupled with a couple coupons made for such a good deal, that I decided to try it. From the get-go I was prejudiced that this powder would in no way cover as good as my traditional liquid foundation. Well, it doesn't cover the same, in my humble opinion it covers much better. It evens out my skin tone, with out giving a heavily made up appearance. I love the natural look of it. It works great in all seasons as well. I used to go without foundation in the hot, sticky summer, as it would usually run off after a couple hours anyway. With this TruBlend foundation, my skin can look flawless even on those humid days.

I have pasty white, acne prone skin. Most other foundations break me out worse, but not this. I got a good concealer and once I put the foundation on, you can't see my acne. It's also very lightweight. Once it's on you can forget about it, because it doesn't smudge, run or feel caked on like other foundations. It blends in very well and actually gives me a bit of a healthy complexion. That's nice for someone like me with next to no natural coloration. It looks extremely natural and I don't have to worry about that line you get with liquid foundations around the hairline, ears or neck. Also, I don't get shiny after wearing it for several hours. My job is very physically involved. I can put this on in the morning and it still looks good when I go home. No shiny forehead or nose. Application is extremely easy and actually saves me time in the mornings. No more blending and blending and blending. The price is very comparable or slightly cheaper than other foundations I've use, so I think it's a good value.

I have used two different brands of mineral make up and I was satisfied.  TruBlend, however, did not work for me.  First of all, like all mineral make up, it drips colored powder all over the sink or dresser, which is not easy to clean up because it smears and stains.  Secondly, the color seems to wear off easily, if it ever was on my skin at all.  I couldn't see a significant difference between before and after.  Finally, I started to feel skin irritation, which is new for me.  I felt like my skin was burning a little.  It wasn't painful, just irritating.  But it was irritating enough to make me touch my face a lot, which wiped off my make up.  It could have been the make up or the brush that was irritating.  The last thing about this make up is that it comes in a tube with a long bristle brush.  This means that it is hard to get the brush back into the tube.  I think there need to be more tests done on this product.

I have oily, acne-prone skin, so it's hard to find makeup that will cover blemishes without making them worse or causing more. I decided to try mineral makeup because it is supposed to provide great, natural-looking coverage without clogging pores. When my face is pretty clear, this makeup works great by itself. But is it is broken out, it doesn't do much to cover blemishes, so i wear it over a liquid foundation. The great things about this makeup are that it is very natural looking, it's lightweight, and it keeps oil under control. When I wear it, my face stays shine free for most of the day, and it's light enough that I can quickly dust it over my makeup if needed. When my face is clear, I use Almay concealer to touch up any discolorations I have and follow up with this makeup, a little blush, eyeshadow, and mascara for a clean, natural look. If my face is broken out, I add in CG liquid mineral makeup after the concealer for the same look. Overall, I am very happy with this product.

I began using bareMinerals about 4 years ago, but because of how expensive the product is, I decided to try a different brand of mineral make up.  I decided to try CoverGirl's mineral make up.  I can honestly say that the coverage isn't as wonderful as the Bare Escentuals brand, that I tend to brush on a little more,  but for the cost, it is well worth it.  I still use the CoverGirl TruBlend Micro Minerals and have for about 2 years, but like I said, I definitely prefer BE.  When using a mineral make up, you really do need to use a good face moisturizer, otherwise, the minerals tend to dry your face and makes you look like you're wearing a powdery mineral foundation.  For the price of this makeup, you really can't lose, like I said, I've been using it for about 2 years now.  I love CoverGirl products and believe in them and do tell anyone that asks what I'm using,  that I'm using the CoverGirl TruBlend Micro Minerals Foundation.
