Whipped indeed, smooth application.

It does the job, it conceals well, and gives a good match especially for fairer skin tones. The feel is smooth and is almost like liquid foundation eithout the work, can even be applied with fingers. Is way better than most of the covergirl foundation and is supportive for sensitive skin,.

Decent product.

I am somewhat of a makeup connoisseur, so I try a lot of products. When this came out a few years ago I gave it a try. I usually love CoverGirl products, and the TruBlend line usually has awesome products. Overall, the coverage on this makeup was great! I love the texture of a whipped foundation. It goes on easily, but it also goes easily! One container of this only lasted me a few weeks. It does need to be reapplied a few times a day, and I found this to be obnoxious. If it stayed the way it did on first application, it would be great! This product is discontinued now, but there are other whipped foundations out there!

A tru sadness this was discontinued...

I'm shocked to find out that this product has been discontinued. I guess it goes to show how infrequently I purchase makeup/foundation. That being said, I've been loyal to Cover Girl TruBlend Whipped Foundation for years now - I LOVE the product. It feels light on your skin, is easy to apply, and goes on almost flawlessly (it blends into the skin great). Regardless of the fact its been discontinued, I'm probably going to seek out a way to continue to buy it online somewhere. I wasn't really sold on the idea of liquid foundations until I gave this product a try, and now I can't imagine going back to any type of those powder foundations.

First and Only Foundation

4

My very first Covergirl TRUblend whipped foundation was purchased for me over five years ago as part of my first makeup kit. I had nothing to compare it to at the time but found it to be easy to use and long lasting. Since then I have purchased three to four more little tubs of Covergirl TRUblend whipped foundation, it has worked well each time. It lasts for over a year and never drys up. I have tried small samples of multiple other covergirl, neutregena, etc. foundations and none of them have been satsifactory. I have always come back to Covergirl's TRUblend whipped foundation as my first choice and to this day it is the only foundation I have purchased. My only complaint with this foundation is that it can sometimes be difficult to spread evenly. I would love to see it include some type of brush and/or instructions in applying properly. Otherwise 2 thumbs up!

CoverGirl TRUblend Whipped Foundation is a good buy.

There is some good things about this and a few bad things too. One bad thing is that they actually just discontinued this product; so if you like it, nows the time to stock up. Another bad thing is that it smells like almond extract. If you smell it while it's in the container, it smells horribly strong. But it doesn't smell during application or when its applied to your face. I have normal-dry skin so I never have problems with things being oily, or slimy feeling. However, even when set with powder, this feels very oily, and I have had a few problems with it clogging pores. I never, ever have problems with that, but this somehow seems to clog pores and is moderately oily, but nothing too severe. You can live with it. It has pretty good coverage, but still feels light and 'airy' on your skin. This is very natural looking. They have a lot of colors to choose from, so it makes it so you can have a more exact color for your skin. It blends in very good to your skin, and doesn't settle into fine lines. I am wearing this foundation as I write this also. My skin feels soft and smooth. I like this product and am bummed that they are discontinuing it.

Better than other Covergirl Products

CoverGirl Whipped foundation is very light and feels so natural and it doesn't clog your pores (not even for me and I have very greasy skin and really oily skin which usually means that I end up using blots to remove excess oil throughout the day). Also, its great for all seasons, my skin tans very easily so TruBlend comes in handy. Additionally, it doesn't rub off very easily. Other foundations would get on clothes, on my phone, all over my fingers, etc. This has a good all day hold. However, I do have some reservations because its in an open mouth container which is a sanitary issue, it can spoil faster because bacteria can grow faster (but it does make it faster to get the foundation out of the bottle). Even though I usually find covergirl disappointing this one was pleasing. it doesn't look and feel as fake as the other covergirl products that I have tried and its pretty affordable too.

CoverGirl Whipped Foundation... is the best!

5

I started wearing makeup about two and a half years ago and I tried several different types of foundation. Liquid was the first... and the worst I believe. I could never blend it in to my skin well at all and almost gave up on the whole idea. But then I tried some whipped foundation, not sure if it was this brand or not to be honest and I don't know where I got it from. I loved it and it goes on so nicely. The brand I use now is CoverGirl and it is great, never have any problems. I have used a couple of different shades of ivory, and they all work for me. I also use CoverGirl's powder over the foundation, to give it a finished look, and it also works great, although I use a brush with it rather than the pad they provide. So, if you are a first-timer with makeup, I think this is a great thing to start with. And even if I don't have time for all of my makeup in the morning, I usually find time for my foundation.

Silky, buildable coverage that looks great even in the sun!

**Quick View:** I need another foundation like I need another pair of shoes but, sometimes I just gotta try new stuff! I honestly didn't expect to like this foundation but I do. It's actually one of the better foundations I have tried lately. ***About Cover Girl TruBlend Whipped Foundation*** This foundation is NOT like the dreadful [Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation][1] ! It comes in a round glass jar (.94 ounce) and the foundation is much like a light cream rather than a souffle or spongey mousse. There are loads of colors to choose from. I chose Natural Beige, which probably would be a touch too dark for me in the winter but I have a little color now. Plus this foundation really DOES blend with my skin tone so I can get away with slightly darker or lighter shades and it seems to adapt to my coloring. The foundation is perfect for my skin color. I just use my fingers to apply and it goes on sheer yet covers all the little things I want it to. I love that it is dewy too. I have dry skin and hate when my face looks dull and ashen. This foundation makes my skin look hydrated and fresh. My blush goes on well and everything just looks better! You can build the coverage with **Cover Girl TruBlend Whipped Foundation.** If you need more coverage, just add a bit more to the areas you want to  cover or apply a thicker layer all over. I just use a little all over my face and it's plenty. It doesn't settle into fine lines at all and gives me a healthy, natural appearance. I was always leery about the while "TruBlend" idea that the foundation blends with 97% of people's skin tones but this sure blended with mine. Although it seemed a touch deep when I first dotted it on, it became one with my skin tone immediately and blended right in. I wore it all day and night outdoors and it was still fresh and looking good at night. For around nine bucks it's a steal. I will use this again when I run out. I do have about 5,000 foundations to work my way through but this one is in my top five faves for the time being. It's great for summer because it is light. However, oily skinned people may not like the dewy finish. I love it. ***My Viewpoint*** **Cover Girl TruBlend Whipped Foundation**is really good stuff. It has a great consistency, blends naturally and seamlessly with my skin tone, and lasts for hours. It doesn't sink into my pores or age me. It brightens my face and makes my dry skin look dewy. I really like it!*** I will give it 4 stars.*** It's almost a 5 star foundation. I just get a little grossed out about dipping my fingers into the open pot knowing that bacteria can harbor in makeup. Give it a try though! It's really good stuff and makes blending foundation so easy! [1]: http://www.viewpoints.com/Maybelline-Dream-Matte-Mousse-Foundation-review-9c00

CoverGirl Trublend Foundation, Light coverage, doesn't last.

3

All the Covergirl foundations that I have tried have provided a light to medium coverage. This whipped formula feels really smooth and creamy, it goes on really light and doesn't look cakey to me. There are a nice variety of shades to choose from too. This foundation is very affordable and easy to blend. It looks pretty natural when applied. I have oily skin and it doesn't make it any worse. i don't mind using foundation in a jar when it is full of product, but as the product is used it becomes harder to get out, some of the product separated and there was oil at the top but that's no big deal. I will not be buying this foundation again because it doesn't last and it rubs off on my clothes and on other people's clothes. After about 4-5 hours, it looks like there is no product on my face. If I'm wearing a high collared top, my collar has foundation on it. It doesn't cover blemishes or discoloration very well. It's best to use concealer and a primer with this foundation.

Not good for dry skin

3

I have dry skin with an oily T zone and this foundation enhanced my skin problems and made me look ridiculous. I don't have a problem with the foundation's formula, but it just did not look good on my skin. The formula is thick and creamy, so it hid my redness well, but it settled into the dry patches on my skin and made my oily areas even oilier. After about an hour of wearing this foundation, I needed to continuously blot my oily areas and use powder, but even then it still didn't completely hide the horrible shine on my face. The jar design isn't convenient because you have to dip either your fingers, a brush, or a sponge into the jar, which can be messy and get contaminated with bacteria. Even though it's inexpensive and affordable, I would not recommend this to anyone with dry skin or combination skin that's dry and oily in certain places. They should change the design of the jar to a bottle if possible.
