Price wise, it is very good of it's kind for the job it's doing. I been using it for a while now and tried to change lipstick recently just for a change and something new. For some reason I wasn't comfortable and happy with the result so, I end up going back to covergirl outlast. It's cheaper but I am happy with the result.

I have been using Cover Girl outlast all day lipstick for quite a few years now, and it is the only lipstick I buy. It is a great product for people who don't like reapplying their lipstick a million times a day. It really does last great, and my favorite part is that you don't get lipstick all over the place--on your clothes, on your teeth, on anyone you kiss, on your glass--I hate leaving lipstick prints behind. I have found that it does eventually wear off, especially if you do a lot of eating, and wiping your mouth on a napkin, but is still better than most. It dries and the color sets pretty fast, so you want to be pretty careful putting it on cause you don't have a lot of time to correct it if you get some over the line, especially on the darker colored lipsticks.

I have been using Cover Girl Outlast smooth All-Day lipstick since it first came out probablyy five or more years ago. It is the best lipstick that I have ever tried. I have tried almost every color and I really like it. It really does stay on all day (and night, it you don't take it off). It comes with a topcoat that feels really good on your lips. I usually only apply the topcoat once, it wears off, but the feel of the Cover Girl Outlast without it is also okay. It's not drying or cakey. You can use eye makeup remover to remove it. I use Olay dry cleaning wipes and they take it off really good, too. I usually just remove it in the shower with the rest of my makeup. It's easy to remove. The colors are very nice and true to what they look like on the box. This is priced a little higher than most Cover Girl, but is still lower than most other long wearing lipsticks. I really like it and never wear a regular lipstick anymore.

I would have rated Cover Girl Outlast Smooth All-Day Smooth Feel Lipstick 865 Satin Latte a little better if I liked the color more. I think the colors in this line are too concentrated or something. They just look too dark. The lipstick really did last almost all day like they advertise but it got a little cakey on my lips after a few hours and I had to wipe it off and reapply it anyway. What's nice about it is that it doesn't stain your lips like some brands of "all-day" lipsticks do. It washes off pretty cleanly. It feels good when it's freshly applied and it smells good, but it does get cakey or clumpy after a while. I also think you have to add the lip gloss to finish it off because it's very matte. I do not generally buy these long-lasting lipsticks because they are just not creamy enough. I don't like my lips looking dry. It's not pretty. I would not recommend this lipstick or any long-lasting lipstick. Stick to the soft, creamy ones for the best look.

  My review of this product comes in the form of a short story.  The day was December 21, 2002 - My wedding day!!!  What an exciting day - everything in place.  One thing that was VERY important to me about my wedding day was my makeup.  My hair was fixed on my head with a gorgeous tiara and long veil flowing to the ground behind my long flowing train.  My face was done by a friend of the family who does a GREAT job.  Even with all of the help from family - I knew that I didn't want to be putting on lipstick 20 times during my special day!  I had to find something that would last the entire time with one application.  So I tried different brands searching for the best one for that special day!  After plenty of testing and trying I settled on Covergirl Outlast - it was not a mistake!  Even after the kiss, and dinner, and more kisses - and cake - all of my wedding pictures have that great lipstick shine and shimmer just like when I first put it on!  I never had to reapply the entire day!  Since that day - I have faithfully used Cover Girl Outlast Smooth lipstick, I cannot use anything else!

I have not been able to find a lipstick that I like for years and years.  I need a certain tone due to my olive skin, and one that stays on as long as possible.  I am a Mom af 3 kids and super busy.  I do not have alot of time to be worrying about if my lipstick is on or smudged or stuck to my teeth.  I know lipstick is a difficult thing for a lot of people but it has been enough to drive me crazy.  I have now found what I have been looking for all of this time!!  I Love the Cover Girl Outlast lipstick.  It comes with 2 tubes.  One is for the color coat and then the other is for the gloss on top.  Both are amazing.  And literally I don't have to worry about lipstick for the rest of the day.  Of course over the hours a little comes off, but not much.  I don't ever reapply in a full days time.  And I love it.  I would highly reccommend this product to anyone at all.  It is amazing and I only wish I would have found it much much sooner.

I have tried many different all day lipsticks from various manufacturers and this is the only one that truly stays on all day like they claim if your lips are not too dry and chapped.  And as long as you use the topcoat lipshine they leave your lips feeling soft and looking great.  The lipstick is very easy to apply, just make sure you don't go outside of your lipline or you'll have to use some remover to get it off.  Also make sure that you only use one coat of this product, or it will start to come off when you drink or eat something.  As long as you use only one coat though, it won't come off at all when you eat or drink or even kiss someone.  I put this product on around 7AM and it lasts all day until about 7PM.  If your lips are chapped it will come off as your dead skin sloughs off, so if you do have dry skin just run a wet washcloth over your lips before applying this product and you will be fine.  The color options in this line are beautiful and can accomdate anyone's taste.  Overall it's a wonderful product that keeps looking great throughout the entire day.

When it comes to cosmetics, I avoid them as much as I can.  Lipstick is pretty much the only cosmetic that I use every day.  I am very busy and a very practical person.  Re-applying makeup every couple of hours is not in my itinerary so when I found the long-lasting type of lipsticks, that was it for me.  10 years ago my first try was with Loreal and at the begining it would stay on all day but after a while they changed it and it would only last 3-4 hours.  That's when I moved on to try other long lasting lipsticks and for the past 5-6 years I've been using Outlast from Cover Girl.  Again, the original was way better than the version they have now in the gray/silver box.  Still (depending on the color) it lasts for at least 3/4 of my workday, which makes me very happy.  I never use the gloss that comes with it because the lipstick won't last an hour once you apply the gloss.  They should come up with a gloss that will still keep the lipstick lasting at least 4 hours.

I have used the Cover Girl Outlast lipsticks for 5 years and love the long-lasting look of them plus the clear lip gloss stick which is not liquid but applies like chapstick. Both wands come together in the package; colors are deep and vibrant.
