this is a fantastic lightweight primer. it goes on very smooth and thin, doesn't feel thick and allows you skin to still breathe. gives an amazing all over, smooth coverage and helps your foundation last all day!

Ages ago I received a free sample of Cover Girl & Olay Simply Ageless Serum Primer. It was a few days ago when I was sorting out samples that I found it. I have really bad lines around my mouth, due to having had dentures, for the past 42 years. I guessed that this wouldn't make much of a difference to them, and I was right. However, the crow's feet around my eyes, aren't too bad. I opened the 2 ml (.067 fluid ounce) sachet, and read the directions. I applied it to both areas, and let it dry. There was no noticeable different around my mouth, but the corner's of my eyes, I saw a smoother looking skin. I had enough to use it yesterday, and today, and I came to the same conclusion. It really does make a difference on fine lines. It is suitable for sensitive skin, doesn't clog pores, and is oil free. I will be checking this out online for coupons, and in store for sales. Effectiveness Worked on eye area, but not on deep lines. Ease of Application Just smooth on. Scent None.

I received a sample of Covergirl & Olay Simply Ageless serum primer and decided to try it. I was glad to read on the directions that I could still use my regular moisturizer with it. I really wasn't expecting to see any difference but I was very pleasantly surprised. I let my moisturizer dry completely and then applied the serum. The serum was very easy to apply. I did not have the Covergirl & Olay foundation so I applied my regular foundation. I was really happy with the end result. I had a brighter more youthful appearance. I am over 50. The advertisement that came with the serum stated that it was a "3 minute facelift effect"  when used with the foundation. I agree it lived up to that statement used alone. I can't wait to try them both together. I am sold on the serum primer regardless. This is one of those very few products that live up to the claim. I love seeing immediate improvement and will be buying this two-some very soon.

A while back I received a sample packet from one of my "freebie" sites in the mail to try Cover Girl & Olay Simply Ageless Serum Primer. I chose to give it a try because I have always been very well satisfied with both companies and their products and have been using them for many years. When I received the packet, I was a little disappointed in the size of it. It's for the face and I thought there was in no way enough to cover the entire surface so I let it sit on my vanity for some time. When I did finally decide to open and use it, I was amazed from the very first dab! I did have enough to apply it to my entire face and I could immediately see a remarkable and stunning difference in my appearance - it truly made me look and feel younger. My skin took on a radiant glow like I have never seen with any of the other facial products I use. Definitely going out to buy and include this as part of my regular care routine.

**I use Cover Girl & Olay Simply Ageless Serum Primer only occasionally, so my review is not based on daily use.  I have been interested in trying a primer for a long time due to all the rave reviews out there for using a primer before foundation application.  So I jumped on the bus and thought it was great that I was able to find a primer at a relativley inexpensive price compared to many primers that you find on the market. **Cover Girl & Olay Simply Ageless Serum Primer is supposed to make your foundation look better and your skin appear smoother - neither of which I feel are accomplished when using this product. **Cover Girl & Olay Simply Ageless Serum Primer also is supposed to help your foundation to stay on longer, and this definietly has not been the case for me.  I will say I have not tried any other brands of primer, so I do not have a good basis on which to compare to other primers, but I am not too impressed!******

I'm in my 20's, have combination skin that is problem free 99% of the time. No wrinkles (yet), no acne, etc. I use a cleaner and moisturizer at night (sometimes I add astringent or toner if I feel oily), and just a moisturizer in the mornings. I've previously used primers by Smashbox and Avon and liked both, but used them more for special occasions and not on a daily basis.This CoverGirl & Olay primer says it can be used alone, over a moisturizer and under make-up. I tried it alone the first day and it worked OK, but it did not provide enough moisture and there is no SPF. Using it over a moisturizer felt a bit greasy to me, so the perfect combination was moisturizer with SPF, primer, then loose powder. I use minimal concealer and no foundation. The primer does give a smoother look and minimizes the appearance of pores in my opinion, so I'm happy with the overall effect. I'm not sure I will use it every day, but it's a nice "trick" to have in my make up box for special occasions.As far as the "ageless" claim goes...this primer is more anti-aging then age-reversing as other reviewers have stated as well. I think anti-aging claims are easier for companies to make since they are not promising any results right away and maybe, just maybe, you'll have less wrinkles down the road if you use their product every day. I'm a big believer in a consistent skin routine - cleaning, toning, moisturizing - but I'm not sure I buy into all these additional products.

This is a great, reasonably priced skin primer.  It does what is says, creates a smooth surface on your skin, and makes your make-up go on smoothly and look great.  I had heard about skin primers, but only high priced products at department stores.  I saw an ad in a magazine for the Cover Girl & Olay Simply Ageless Serum Primer and decided to try it.  I am very happy with it, and it is reasonably priced.  I also purchased the Cover Girl & Olay Simply Ageless foundation, and I like that as well.  I use my regular moisturizer, let that absorb, then use a small squirt of the Serum Primer.  After spreading the primer around, I usually try to let it absorb and set for 10 minutes before I apply foundation.  This seems to work well, and I am happy with the smooth, flawless results.  I have used other primer type products, and they felt tacky and were difficult to apply because they were not smooth, they felt like I was putting glue on my face.  The Cover Girl Olay product is smooth, like a lotion, and applies easily.

     I've been meaning to check out a face primer in hopes that it would give my makeup the stay put power that I was looking for.  I recently came across the opportunity to put one to the test.  I received a sample of the new CoverGirl and Olay simply ageless serum primer.  It says that it helps to firm skin's appearance to create a canvas for an ageless finish.  While I did notice that my makeup did stay in place longer, I'm not too sure about the firmer skin.  Maybe my skin hasn't lost enough firmness to notice a big difference.  Who knows, but I am very pleased with the velvety texture and the smooth 'canvas' that using it creates.  The directions say to apply to clean moisturized skin (which is great that I can still use my regular moisturizer) and that it can be worn alone or with makeup.  It seamlessly fills in any large pores, slight wrinkles, or imperfections to help foundation cover so much better.  Hooray for Olay!
