Great Cover Girl Loose Powder

3

This product is a great quality product it really helps keep shine out of my shinny areas like my nose and my shiny cheeks. I usually apply a little bit of concelar and they apply the Cover Girl Loose powder. I have tried other brands even name brands from expensive store and keep coming back to this great product. The only complain are the cheap compact applier that comes with it. They should improve in that other than that great product.

CoverGirl got it right

I've tried to find the perfect full coverage makeup to put on my face and realized that I probably woudn't get that without adding a powder to my foundation. I was right. I've tried both this and MaryKay products and I have been satisfied with the quality of both of them. However, the best part about this product is the price. MaryKay of course is a very popular brand because of the quality however I would beg to say that CoverGirl gives the same quality if not better and more of it for less money! The colors are almost the exact color of my skin and that helps so much to keep the tone looking naturaly. Now, there are a couple of cons to this and those are that it is a little bit cakey if you aren't careful and it smells really awful just like pretty much any other powder you are going to use. Also, just like any other powder this one is very messy especially packaged like it is because if it's not laid flat, then it goes all over the lid and all over your lap.

CoverGirl Loose Powder for Face Makeup

I just bought this powder last week because the Maybelline powder in a compact wasn't working as well.  When I first put it on, I was too heavy handed because powder spilled all over my dresser (my fault).  The product itself is wonderful because it doesn't look so "cakey" and it holds the shine almost all day.  With the Maybelline, I had to reapply several times a day.  The CoverGirl powder looks great, is lightweight, and keeps the shine away.  I have chosen not to use the powder puff that comes with the powder, I apply it with a cosmetic brush.  To me, the brush is easier to apply and it doesn't get so messy on the dresser.  I am a fair-skinned African-American female, so it is hard to match makeup colors for my skin tone.  Either the colors are too red or too chalky white.  Before I purchased the  CoverGirl powder, I browsed the Maybelline powder, and it was way too red.  I was afraid that the CoverGirl powder would be too pale looking, but it wasn't.  The shade I purchased was Translucent medium #115, which works out perfect for me.

good powder that takes away the shine for a good price

I have been using powdered face makeup like this for years, since I was a high school student. I like the loose powder better than the pressed powder because it doesn't seem to go on as thick looking. And the loose powder lasts a long time. I don't have as much an oily shine problem as I did back then, but I like the mat finish powder provides. I have like the Cover Girl powder. My husband likes the scent, however I myself prefer the unscented variety. The price is ok, and with a coupon (that's readily available in almost every Proctor & Gamble insert in the Sunday paper) and/or paired with a sale, it makes for a good value. The one drawback to the loose powder is that it can get on your clothing if you're not careful. I don't shake much out onto the puff and I lean over the sink when applying so it's usually not a problem for me. And whatever does get on the clothing usually brushes off easily.

CoverGirl Loose Powder for Face Makeup works okay, but messy.

So I am one who really likes that finished look you get from powder makeup or when you need to freshen up it really comes in handy. However, while this works okay, it is totally not friendly to use. Too much powder gets on the puff and it has that weird makeup smell. I had to brush specks off my shirt every time I used it and did I mention the smell? Actually it wasn't horrible, but my husband hated it. After trying this I have decided to stick with compacted powder. Much more user friendly.
