I tried this liner out in the midst of looking for a decent liquid eyelner, and I ended up going with another choice but it was okay. My main problem with the liner is that it bleeds and smudges onto the crease of my eye. I tried using it a few times with the same results. I like the color the smoothness of application but it can get messy if you are cautious when applying it. It leaks, drips, and takes a while to dry. The color can change from light to dark and look a bit awkward. What I did like about this eyeliner was, I normally have a hard time applying liquid liner but the concept of the applicator is great, and even though it doesn't work with the watery formula it is a nice idea. Once the liner dries, unless you use makeup remover, it's not coming off. I suggest quickly correcting any mistakes before it starts to dry. The long-lasting wear can be a good or bad thing, depending on how well you apply the eyeliner. The liner is watery but if it gets in your eyes there is discomfort for a second but no stinging. The one thing I personally despise about liquid eyeliner is that 90% of the time if it gets in your eyes it is accompanied by stinging, redness, and your eyes water uncontrollably. I tried my best to keep it away, but to no avail. Overall, I wouldn't say this product is horrible. I have used better liquid eyeliner, but with a few changes this would be a great eyeliner. I don't know if I will be purchasing it again, but it's great to have as a backup in your makeup bag.

I am not a fan of the cover girl line exact liquid liner. I love the look of liquid liner, and this just isn't it. I like that it comes in kind of a pen form for easier application, but it was almost like there was no product on the pen. It did not make a smooth line and I had to keep going over the same spot just to get liner on my eye lid, but then it would smear. Never buying this again.

The CoverGirl Line Exact eyeliner pen is compact and easy to use. The super-fine felt tip makes it easy to apply with or without contacts in (my eyes are more sensitive to eyeliner without contacts in). Even with a less than steady hand it is simple to apply a defined line. One of the benefits of this liner is that it lasts much longer throughout the day, especially compared to the soft pencil liner I was using before. I noticed one of the downsides of this product when using it over time. The marker tip seems to dry out with frequent use and will not draw as strong of a line on the first try as compared to a freshly opened package. However, I got enough use out of the liner before I really saw this as a problem that I may have just reached the end of the lifespan of the Line Exact.

I uv this and have been using it daily for years! There is nothing like it! HOWEVER,it runs out in three weeks!! YIKES! I hope they will reconsider either charging less or resizing so that it lasts longer! I don't use a ton but two or three years ago this was not the case!!

This eyeliner is so easy to use! I've had problems with eyeliner before because it's hard for me to control them, but I love this one. You use it just like it a marker. It's fantastic. Another great thing is that if you wait for a sale, it's not a bad price at all. I love it!

I needed some eye liner and can never find anything I'm truly happy with. I couldn't find the kind I normally buy (L'Oreal) and then I saw Cover Girl Line Exact so I decided to take it home and try it. I have to say that I love this liner! It is by far the easiest and best eye liner I've tried. I have never been able to use those pencils without ripping my lids off so I started using liquid liners some time ago. The problem is they are usually messy and hard to draw a straight line without having it be all thick and weird. When I tried this I couldn't get over how easy it was to try! It's just like taking the smoothest, best pen you've ever used and then drawing on exactly what you want. I still can't get over its simplicity! I wish I could have found something like this years ago. It's even easy to correct mistakes if you do it before it's dry. I will not switch back to my old liner!

***Quick View:*** I lobe the "Exact" line of CoverGirl Mascaras and I like CoverGirl products in general so it was a gimme that I would like **CoverGirl LineExact Liquid Eyeliner**. Only I don't. The pen dries out very quickly and is only so so when it's at its best. ***About CoverGirl LineExact Liquid Eyeliner*** This eyeliner comes in a little pen with a felt tipped applicator. The tip is very thin and precise. It comes in four shades: Very Black, Smoke, Black-Brown, and Brown. I had a BOGO coupon for this liner so I picked up two in Very Black because I don't like the other shades. At first, the liner WAS very black. It was pretty easy to line my eyes but the line was super thin and not very noticeable. It seemed to stay on pretty well but it wasn't a liner that lasted for a zillion hours like [Blinc's Kiss Me Liquid Liner][1] . After about five uses, my **CoverGirl LineExact Liquid Eyeliner** started to look grey instead of black. It was hard to get the line to be smooth and not skip. I shook the pen and pushed on the top of the felt tip hoping to extract more liner but all I got was a faint grey line. Because I had a brand new one waiting to be opened, I didn't get too upset.  I assumed I got a bad or old tube. It happens. The second tube lined darkly and I was OK with it. It certainly wasn't my first liner choice but it worked for casual daytime outings. But again, the pen ran out super fast. I found myself pushing on the tip and pulling at the delicate skin around my eyes to get some semblance of color out of the pen. I tossed both pens away and won't use **CoverGirl LineExact Liquid Eyeliner** again. It's not super expensive but there are so so so many other liners out there that I don't need to buy something I only just think is OK at its best and that runs out really quickly. ***My Viewpoint*** I know most of the other reviewers here like this liner and I sure wish I could join them in saying i did. I love CoverGirl's Volume Exact Mascara,[ LashExact Mascara][2] , and [LashBlash Mascara][3] and can't believe how much I DON'T like the same company's** Line Exact Liquid Eyeliner**. ***2 stars***. I use this one the most tried other but did not like . this one goes on smoth and does not sweat off. you can make the line thin or think and still looks great. at the end of the day it still looks like i just put it on . come off clean with some eye make remover or soap and water .

I have had a hard time find an eyeliner that I like. Usually I have the problem with the eyeliner smudging around my eyes throughout the day that I constantly have to look in a mirror to make sure I don't have racoon eyes. But with the CoverGirl LineExact Liquid Liner I no longer have that problem. It goes on smooth, dries quickly, easily to wipe off if you get out of line and has a good color selection. It lasts all day but if I am going out somewhere again in the evening, some times I will reapply it to make it look fresh. Maybe the only problem I have with this product is that it costs a little more than I like to pay and the eye liner does not last as long for me as the others that I didn't like did. So, I am caught in a delima. Use a product that's cheaper but doesn't work well or use this product that works great but costs more. I am continuing to use this product but if I find something cheaper that does the same job, I will quickly change. It is a good eyeliner though. I have used everything from Mary Kay to Maybelline. And this is the best so far!
