Most HelpfulThis mascara was very much average. At a drugstore price, it is drugstore quality. I prefer Maybelline Full and Soft which runs about the same price. The brush used for this mascara is very flimsy. I believe it was designed this way as to make the mascara easier to apply and easier to reach all lashes;...
read full review »After being completely dissatisfied with Elizabeth Arden Natural Volume Mascara, I finally thought that I had found the perfect replacement when I tried Ulta Maximum Length Soft Curl Mascara. Although this is a great product, my sister introduced me to Cover Girl Lash Blast and now I realize what a great mascara really is!
My Experience...
One day, I was with my sister and noticed how incredibly full and long her eyelashes looked. She normally has sticks for eyelashes so this was a huge improvement. (Hope she isn't reading! *wink*) I asked her what she used on them and that is when...
read full review »After reading many positive reviews for CoverGirl Lash Blash Mascara, I decided it was about time to try it myself. I found it at Target in a buy-one-get-one-free package for $9.99 and I had a coupon for $1.00 off, making them $4.50 each instead of their individual price tag of $6.79.
I was expecting the brush to be hard to hold and handle, because I had read that complaint several times in the reviews, but it wasn't so bad. The brush was very big and made applying the mascara slightly more difficult, but it didn't make me want to stop using it - especially after the results I got!
This really...
read full review »This mascara is great stuff in my book. I found a two for one purchase at Wal-mart and I couldn't pass it up and I am so happy I didn't...Love it! It gives me great color and stand out eye lashes, no clumping and just smooth coverage. I have naturally long eye lashes that I have had many comments that they were falsies when I was younger and well I have tried many mascaras in my day. I have never had a happy long looking eye lash that made them stand out since I have gotten older and Cover girl has found the right mix with their new bigger brush that has 50% more bristles that leaves soft,...
read full review »I tried CoverGirl Lash Blast mascara after using a variety of CoverGirl products. The mascara provides great volume and virtually no clumping with its special flexible wand, but is a little difficult to use with how thick the wand is.
I was very satisfied with the product until I tried to take the mascara off... I am a usual waterproof mascara user, so this was not new to me, and the Lash Blast took me about 7 minutes to remove! I felt as if I were abusing my lashes in attempting to get it off of my lashes.
The price is not bad, however, it is possible to find other mascaras for a little cheaper...
Even though I have a favorite mascara I am also a cosmetics junkie so I'm always buying and trying new products to see what I can find. When I heard all kinds of great things about Cover Girl Lash Blast Mascara I had to try it for myself. Having used it now for about 2 months I've decided that it's better than average, but I don't like it as much as Rimmel's Lash Maxx.
Lash Blast's tube is a big fat orange thing that is a little too thick for my liking. I find that it's hard to hold onto and control. The brush head is orange plastic and covered in tons of tiny spikes. It seems to work OK as...
read full review »This mascara was recommended to me on this site after I had been looking for a voluminous mascara forever. I went out a bought it and gave it a try. The first time I used it i didnt like it at all....and I'm not really sure why. Maybe I was expecting to look like I just put on extensions or for a huge "wow" factor, I really dont know. I washed it off (well, I tried to) I accidentally bought the waterproof kind, which I hate...but that's my fault. I finally tried it again a few days later and noticed how good and full my lashes look. I dont really care how long they look as long as they...
read full review »Well, my 42-year quest for the perfect mascara has led me to Cover Girl Lash Blast. Have used everything from the cheapest drugstore brand to Lancome over the years, L'Oreal having been my usual brand the past few years. I think this may be the first Cover Girl mascara I've used and liked.
I really like this brush! The very fine, very many, very close bristles seem to be plastic and are different than what I've used in the past. The product doesn't come out of the tube in globs, but rather is nicely distributed over the brush. The close-set bristles separate and coat the lashes evenly,...
read full review »Covergirl Lash Blast has quickly become one of my favorite mascaras. It gives you such thick, plush lashes that they almost look like false lashes. It washes off really easily so you can quickly transform back into the girl next door. If you are looking for a dramatic mascara then this is it. If you like a really natural or understated look then stay away. If you are one of the former people then this mascara would be good for evening looks. I personally adore this mascara because I love the look of thick lashes that don't clump together. The only problems that I have with this mascara is that...
read full review »Okay, so when I saw this commercial after watching an episode of America's Next Top Model, I had to have it. Then I saw it in Lucky Magazine, $7 the mag said. I ended up paying a good $8 and some change for this, but it was worth it.
It seperated my lashes, didn't leave them clunky and really complemented my eyes. I love the design of the brush. Other people even noticed, which is always good.
I'm not a mascara wearer but this is a bulky product, but the good thing about that is it makes it easy to find it in my junkie purse.
Two thumbs up for Cover Girl!
I tried Cover Girl Lash Blast Mascara last week because of all of the commercials with Drew Barrymore. The mascara is wonderful! My lashes looked fuller and thicker than ever before. It went on easily and did not clump. I only needed one application for daytime wear. However, for really dramatic lashes at night I used two coats. The mascara washed off easily with soap and water. Being that it is Cover Girl, it was also inexpensive! That is something we can all appreciate in these times. I would highly recommend that everyone gives it a try.
The Cover Girl Lash Blast is an awesome product for volume. I have tried many, many other mascaras and this one offers the best for volume and building. It doesn't clump and doesn't flake. The best thing is that after a long day of working or being outside there are no black circles under the eyes and I don't use waterproof.
Let's not decieve ourselves and believe the commercials. But I have to admit that it's pretty close.
