After reading many positive reviews for CoverGirl Lash Blash Mascara, I decided it was about time to try it myself. I found it at Target in a buy-one-get-one-free package for $9.99 and I had a coupon for $1.00 off, making them $4.50 each instead of their individual price tag of $6.79.
I was expecting the brush to be hard to hold and handle, because I had read that complaint several times in the reviews, but it wasn't so bad. The brush was very big and made applying the mascara slightly more difficult, but it didn't make me want to stop using it - especially after the results I got!
This really is the best mascara I have used so far. My lashes were longer, thicker and what's very important to me - they were separated nicely. I liked that the mascara didn't dry instantly, because that allowed me to apply several coats before it had a chance to dry. The result - super long, extra thick and volumized lashes that were separated! Other than the brush, my only complaint is the very tip of the brush. It seems to hold extra mascara which could cause clumps on your lashes if not blotted before use. Other than that, I absolutely love this mascara!
The Scoop!
CoverGirl must be onto to something. Prior to using Lash Blast, my favorite mascara was the CoverGirl Lash Exact mascara - which I still love. I will continue to buy both mascaras however, I will never again buy CoverGirl VolumeExact mascara. That one isn't anything like these two.
