I am not one to own tons of makeup and I generally stick to one or two shades of blush. Lately, though, I have been wanting to try shades to go with my outfits or just for variety. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on blush that may not be right for my skin so I decided to try a few shades of CoverGirl Cheekers Blush. I like the shades and the way this blush looks on my skin. The smaller compacts are great for tossing in my purse too!

CoverGirl Cheekers Blush

This powdered blush comes in 18 shades from very light pinks to roses to plums to browns. I chose three shades, two in the plum family and one in the rose. The compacts are small, each weighing .12 ounce. They come with a decent little brush for touch ups but no mirror is included in the compact. I like that the cover is clear plastic so I can quickly see which of the shades I want to use without reading labels or opening the compacts.

Each compact is about $3.75 to $4.00 at drugstores and department stores like WalMart. For the price of one higher end blush, I got three and CoverGirl doesn't skimp on quality despite the low price. The hard packed powder blush glides over my skin and imparts a subtle, natural looking color to my cheeks. It wears well and I rarely need to touch it up throughout the day. Some shades have a bit of sparkle, some are matte. I personally prefer the more natural matte shades but there's a formula and shade of CoverGirl Cheekers Blush for every preference!

My Viewpoint

I really like CoverGirl Cheekers Blush. There are so many shades to choose from and the color is natural looking and subtle. The small compacts last a long time and it isn't a tragedy if I happen to lose one since they are so affordable. I now color coordinate my blush with my clothing and am planning to try some deeper shades as summer approaches. I give CoverGirl Cheekers Blush a 4 star rating. It's not a high end designer blush but no one can tell by the way it looks on my skin!
