I'm not big on cosmetics, but for special occassions I will use pressed powder, lip gloss and eyeliner. This pressed powder, no matter what shade I get does not evenly match my skin tone and it's clear that I'm using a powder on my face. It does last long, like many CoverGirl products, and it's affordable enough. I also have had no allergic reactions to this product and that's a plus. There are better powders out there, but this is not horrible for what you get.

I first started using CoverGirl CG Smoothers Pressed Powder when I was in high school. The main thing that attracted me to the product was it's reviews on decreasing the shine on your face. My complexion always seemed to be on the oily side so I was looking for a product that would decrease that shine but not stand out too much. CoverGirl Smoothers Pressed Powder was exactly what I needed. CoverGirl made it very easy to find the right shade match for my skin. I decided to buy two shades, one for the summer when I was darker complexed and another for winter when my skin was a lighter tone. I started using the product in the summer when my skin was the most oily and it worked wonders. I applied it right after my foundation and it blended in very well and didn't make me look like I was overdone with makeup. I definitely reccomend this powder for anyone looking to reduce the shine on their face with a natural look and for an affordable price.

THis product is a staple in my purse. It's great for shine, and I have an extremely oily face. I cannot imagine traveling, taking a day trip, or going to a job interview without it! I have an overactive oily face and haven't found any products that really stop that, so I decided to focus on cutting down the oil from the surface. I carry this small compact with me and the mirror is a good size for checking your entire face for oil and then blotting. It's a great price, too, and you can usually get coupons from Proctor and Gamble or wait for drugstore deals to purchase it. The only downside is that obviously it doesn't stop oil producing on your face, rather it just adds a little powder, so it can get a bit cakey!

Along with other covergirl brand products and other types of pressed powders, I have been using covergirl pressed powder compacts for a long time (since high school) The smoothers type of this covergirl brand is just another reason to make me like covergirl so much. I really enjoy how it helps me and my crazy T-zone by helping to minimize my oily face from looking so out of control. It goes on smoothly and helps cover up those lovely fine lines that I'm starting to accumulate with my gracefully aging process. And when this product goes on, it stays on, I also don't seem to need to be re-applied as constantly. I also enjoy how it is cost effective, wanted to look nice and not having to spend a lot of money on that process is always a big bonus in my book. **In my nutshell the review for CoverGirl Smothers pressed powder: **Great clean light coverage, does the trick and keeps on ticking! I used this several times.  I noticed it would just make my face look like a clown.  You have to use a lot to see coverage and when you do it seems like you have put on so much make up.  It starts to fade easily throughout the day.  I don't recommend it!

I love everything made by covergirl.  It's my most preferred brand.  This pressed powder is great and it does what it promises.  It keeps that nasty nose shine away!  I love this compact because it's easy to throw in your  purse or travel with.  I have even dropped this thing and the powder inside didn't crumble like most others.  This is the best stuff to put over your foundation by covergirl.  It lasts for a long time, too.  I live in the south and in the summer time the temperatures outside can be brutal which makes for a sweaty oily face.  This powder lasts all day and I may have to use it twice in a day to cover that shine.  It is very cheap compared to all the other products that slap a name on their products and charge outrageous prices for something that doesn't deliver!  I've tried other powders with a brush, too and I always went back to the covergirl compact.  The greatest thing about this powder is that weather you apply it with a brush or not you can't see it.  Alot of powders leave your face looking like you couldn't see what you were doing when you applied it.  I love this powder it's the best so far.

Covergirl Smoother pressed powder is really great. It is such a classic. Their product is very light and gives the right amount of coverage. I like to use this after I apply foundation or i apply it alone. For a price like this? Covergirl works just perfect. It is so light that you won't feel it on your skin. It does temporarily remove shine and "covers" the oil. I suggest you reapply it once later in the day. Every thing is terrific about this powder except for one thing - the sponge. When i first used it i used the sponge that was given in the package and kept it in there when i wasn't using it. I probably used the sponge for 3 months and noticed something was different so i changed the sponge to a powder brush. So, if you like using the sponge go out and buy extra because if you keep on using the same one that comes from the package bacteria can build up. I also like the finish it gives me when i use a brush. I definitely recomend everyone to use this if your looking for a classic, light, great coverage powder. If your looking for anything more "heavy duty" and full coverage i suggest soemthing else.

I love covergirl smoothers pressed powder. I am the ultimate pale-skinned girl, and I even found a tone that matched my skin! The powder is easy to blend, so it doesn't look cakey or anything. It makes your skin super smooth and doesn't have the potential harmful effects that loose powder may have on your lungs. The only issue I had with it is that the case broke pretty easily. My cat knocked it off my bathroom counter and it broke. Sad day for me.

I have used this for quite some time. i lost the thing that came with it so i use a blush stick thingy. and it works just the same. i dont feel weighted down when i use it and i dont need to use to much of it. covers up red skin and little scars. really light and does what i needs. cover girl prices are the best around and work really great. i dont  have to apply the make up that much nor am i a foundation type person but i love this. i am not that dark skinned  and it has the shade i need which is great. a lot of stuff makes my skin oily and break out but ths has never bnroke me out or made my face oily which is great. takes the shine off of my nose and fore head.   i used it practically every day and i have had it over 6 months and i still have plenty left over. i like that the price is ok and is very good quality. i like the nice scent of it as well. the smoothness the powderyness is not overwhelming and is just right!
