Cover Girl and Olay Simply Ageless Foundation Review

I received this product free because I am a BZZ Agent and they sent it to me for me to try and review for their website.  The first time I tried it, I was unhappy with it because it seemed to go on so dry.  Then, I went to the Cover Girl website (as I was supposed to do before trying!) and watched the video where they show you the product, talk about its benefits and show you how to use it.  Well, as it turns out, I learned a lot.

For openers, I did not even realize there was a sponge in the bottom of the container which you are supposed to use for application.  I also learned that the Olay swirled into the foundation actually makes it easier to apply.  The product starts as a dry (solid) foundation, but as you draw the sponge over the foundation and swirl it around, it actually becomes liquid and it glides across your skin.  There are anti-oxidants and vitamins in the product, as well as sunscreen.

Next time I tried it, I absolutely loved it.  You get great coverage, but it feels absolutely weightless.  Using the sponge as instructed, the foundation glides over your skin.  I also used a second make up sponge to follow up and make sure the coverage was even.  I was really amazed at the results.  My skin looks great, and at my age (60) that means a lot. 

I noticed that the product is featured this week at CVS and is on sale for $12.99.  This is a bit more than I would normally pay for a foundation, but I think it is going to last quite a while.  I know one reviewer said hers was gone in less than a month, but I don't see how she could use that much that quickly.  I have used it for two weeks, and my container still looks full.  So, I think it will last long enough to suit me and thus, the price is deceiving.

I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a new foundation that looks great on your skin.  There are many shades to choose from, and I think you will be happy with your purchase.
