For years I have avoided CoverGirl due to the fact that no matter what I use from them, I end up with break outs.

I am however a huge fan of Oil of Olay, and when I stumbled upon a foundation that was created by both parties, I admit it, I was intrigued. So much so that I ended up shelling out $12.99 to try the new CoverGirl & Olay Simply Ageless Foundation.

The thing that made this foundation so dang interesting was it's appearance. The foundation base color has swirls of white formula throughout it. You can see it right through the glass packaging, and it looks like candy for your face! Like an old fashioned lollipops!

I went with #220 which is a medium light color. There are many different colors to choose from, but frankly I think they could add more, especially seeing that the colors that are available are all very off tone from what real skin color looks like. One color in particular has far too much pink hue to it, and another is too orange. Like an oompa. At any rate though, the #220 seemed to work best for me.

I was very hesitant about the product, but seeing that Olay teamed up with CoverGirl, I figured it would be something I'd like, even with past CoverGirl issues.

The foundation is made by CoverGirl, and the white swirls you see is actually Olay Regenerist serum, which is supposed to refine wrinkles and all of that delicious good stuff for your face!

The packaging is a bit awkward, and I don't really like it. The foundation and oil of olay serum sits neatly in a glass pot. On top of the pot is a purple colored screw off lid, which contains a hidden compartment for the sponge disc applicator.

You basically unscrew the lid, then pop the lids compartment off in order to gain access to the disc.

What makes it so quirky though is that the plastic is very poorly made, with a very cheap and feathery light feeling lid. If I were to store this lid in my purse, I know it would crack and break, completely ruining my foundation.

When I finally got to using it, I dabbed the sponge disc into the foundation, and went to work on my face. I was immediately impressed with how cool, soothing, and fresh the foundation made my skin feel the moment it made contact!

The foundation spread around my face easily, and wiped away all of my flaws with ease. It did however have issues with hiding redder blemishes, but all in all the cover was pretty fantastic (so long as you don't have a huge pulsating pimple on your face, the cover is flawless).

What I really love, love, loved about CoverGirl & Olay Simply Ageless Foundation was how lightweight it felt on my face. How it cleared up dry skin with moisturization, and did not leave my oily spots looking shiny or greasy!

As far as last goes, the foundation stays put all day long. If you happen to rub your face with your shirt though, the foundation will stick to your clothing. It's not very budge proof, but so long as you are not touching your face on a constant the foundation stays put, and leaves your face looking and feeling fresh.

It's truly like a corrector and a cover up in 1, and I cannot recommend it enough!

You can find CoverGirl & Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in any superstore. I personally picked mine up at Target and got it on sale for $12.99. Normally it sells for around $15.00. It is worth every cent though, sale or no sale. It's worth the buy!
