They changed the formula, and I HATE IT.

When Cover Girl Tru Blend first came out, I absolutely LOVED it. It went on kind of powdery and dried to a smooth finish. It covered me uneven skin tone, and made my skin look great. — Then they changed the formula! WHY DID THEY DO THAT?? — As soon as I saw the new bottle, I knew I was in for a change. The tru blend liquid foundation is truely the best make up foundation in the market today. When I first applied it, it seemed too light. However, within 5-10 minutes, the color will blend right into your skin.. Even if you choose the wrong color! The only downside is that it is creamy. But thats the case with ALL liquid foundations. I have used this for about three year. It is great i have very dry skin and most foundation make my face even worst. This foundation goes on great with out dry me out more and gives me a flawless look everytime. I am always trying to find a foundation that is light, and doesn't make me look orange. I tried Tru Blend on a whim and absolutely loved it! It blends in with my skin so it looks totally natural.I don't have any lines on my face from where my makeup ends. The TruBlend foundation in Classic Ivory does an excellent job matching my skin color. I have had a hard time matching my color in the past as many foundations have too much pink in them for me. It gives smooth looking, even and light coverage over most of my skin. It doesn't look good on areas of dry skin. This used to be my all time favorite - but I ran out recently and realized it isn't anything like it was. They changed the bottle (plastic to glass), and I am not sure if that in itself changed the makeup, or if they also changed the 'formula'. I have fairly normal skin (slightly oily around the nose/forehead like most women I guess). I finally found a make-up that I will continue to buy and use for a long time to come. — Cover-Girl Tru-Blend foundations and powders are wonderful. I am not one of those girls who likes to look excessively made up, so this stuff is a true find. It comes in many different shades so that you can match it exactly to your skin tone creating a seamless covering for blemishes and uneven skin marks. I used TruBlend for several years and really liked it. It covered well, and didn't feel greasy. I liked the fact that it felt very smooth, almost powdery, when applied. I was shocked when I bought my last bottle and found out they'd changed the formula. At first I thought they'd just changed to a different kind of bottle. However, a check of the ingredients list proved otherwise. The new formula is watery, doesn't cover evenly at all, and feels oily once it's applied. Thsi is a great all in one step makeup that I've used for quite some time now. The only problem I have with it is that as it ages, it starts to get a little clumpy and wont go on smoothly. Other than that, its light and covers pretty well (although if you have open acne spots, you can get a little cacky looking) and all in all I think it is a good product. this is a nice product which really does match my skintone. i like the fact that it is easy to apply and quick. i don't like spending a lot of time on makeup...i'd rather sleep. this is a helpful product for that. i have oily skin so i don't worry about it drying out but lasting. it lasts for a decent amount of time but i can't wear it while i'm working a 12 hour day without reapplying or adding to it. overall it is better for a night out when i only need coverage for a few… read full review »

this stuff is pretty good. it has matte texture, and is very good with coverage. Although, you have to make sure you blend/rub it in good enough otherwise it wil look cracky. I wouldnt advise people with dry skin to use it. for the price...its a good buy. A little goes a long way with this product, so you dont have to use too much. and it lasts for a while. This product has been great, I would, without a doubt, recommend it to anyone! I liked it especially because it doesn't leave the real powdery look that alot of cover ups tend to leave, and it kept my skin shine-free.
