Cover Girl Smoothwear Liptints —

Winter usually takes its toll on skin and lips especially. The temperature is frigid, the wind is blowing and you are going in and out of heated buildings into the cold. We have had more bizarre weather here in Louisiana this winter. We have winter for a few days then a day or two of sunny weather with temperatures in the 50's to 70's and then 3 to 4 days of rain and the process will start all over again. I really wish we had more days of sunshine over rain but that is Mother Nature for you! Anyway, I noticed my lips were starting to get chapped today so I pulled out one of my favorite lipglosses, Covergirl Smoothwear Liptints.

Covergirl Smoothwear Liptints

This is a sheer lipgloss with very little color. The formula is very smooth and provides a nice glossy finish. It comes in various shades but actually there is only a hint of color. Covergirl Smoothwear Liptints comes in a plastic tube with a screw off cap. The applicator is actually the slanted tip of the tube designed to be the applicator. It has a nice sweet vanilla fragrance that is quite inviting.

Covergirl Smoothwear Liptints are enriched with Vitamin E, shea butter and Aloe. It's almost like a lip balm only in a lip gloss formula. It retails for under $5.00.

My Viewpoint

I really like this lipgloss. It goes on very smooth. It isn't the least bit sticky and provides a hint of color with a nice glossy shine to it. It leaves my lips moisturized and starts repairing dry lips if I start using it in time. I really like this over chapstick because it looks nice on. You can wear it instead of lipstick and still look nice. The vanilla scent is also a plus!

I think that this is a great product to use every day or for trying to advoid chapped lips! Either way Covergirl Smoothwear Liptints is an inexpensive lip gloss and looks great! I like it!
